My Experience with Sephora Collection Marvelous Mauve Cream Lip Stain:
This lip cream has a very classic packaging with a see-through tube and a black twist up cap. The shade number is mentioned at the bottom of the tube and the range name around the tube. The applicator on Sephora’s cream lip stain is a standard doe-foot applicator.
If you love shades like Lolita from Kat Von D, then you definitely need to pick this up. Marvelous Mauve is a dusty pink with brown undertones. You can never go wrong with these type of shades, since these can be worn everyday and goes so well with everything.
The texture of Sephora lip cream stain is a moussey textur which goes on super easily and smoothly on the lips. It is highly pigmented and delivers full coverage in a single swipe. It dries down within one minute and sets to a matte finish. The thing that I like about this lip stain is that it does not settle into fine lines of my lips and feels very comfortable through the day on the lips.
This lip stain has a cake batter scent which fades away after application. When it comes to lasting power, it stays on the lips all day and is transfer proof. I get full 9 to 10 hours even with heavy meals. It does fade a little when you eat oily food. You do need to prep your lips prior the application since it clings on to the dry patches of the lips.
