Sephora Collection Oh Oh Rouge Cream Lipstick Review

If you have read my previous review on Just Cavalli Just Gold Eau De Parfum for Her, you must be aware of my love for Sephora. It has almost become my habit to check out the store once in a while. So, this time when I was there, a lipstick caught my eye and here I am with its review today. 🙂

Product Description:
What it is:
A hydrating lipstick that creates full lips with intense color.

What it does:
A revamp of the iconic Sephora Lip Attitude Chic, this new hydrating formula provides improved coverage and is rife with pigment. The creamy texture softly glazes your lips, imparting just the right amount of color and sheen.

How to Use:
Suggested Usage:
-Start by matching your Sephora Rouge Cream Lipstick to a Nano Lip Liner.
-Trace the edge of your lips with desired Nano Lip Liner.
-Apply Sephora Rouge Cream Lipstick directly on top.
-Start in the middle of the lips smoothing out to the corners of the mouth.

For longer lasting lipstick:
-Apply your usual face powder with a puff to your lips and then apply your Sephora Rouge lipstick.
-Apply a lip liner to the inner and outer contours of your lips, and then apply your Sephora Rouge lipstick.
-Use Trick of the Trade Lip Last as a clear top coat to seal your lipstick.

My Experience with Sephora Collection Oh Oh Rouge Cream Lipstick:

There is nothing fancy about the packaging of these lipsticks. They have the simplest lipstick packaging that you can get these days. Just simple black, hourglass shaped with only Sephora printed over it. Quite sleek and travel friendly, I must say.

The shade I have chosen is really intense in color. It is a little loud for daytime or it can be paired up with monochromes to complete the look. I really like the way it glazes on my lips and the best part is that it is so hydrating that no lip balm is required underneath. It is very pigmented and stays for up to 4-5 hours without fading. Even when it tends to fade a little bit, it definitely leaves a stain behind because of the intense color. It has a superb shine that does not look over the top.

The formula of this lipstick is so smooth and hydrating that I cannot just stop raving about it. It makes application on the lips effortless. I love that it has excellent color payoff. It doesn’t bleed and stays in place for upto 4-5 hours. It gives a sheen and an even finish to the lips. This lipstick is a boon for even very pigmented lips as the color payoff is amazing.

This particular shade is buildable, but that completely depends upon the wearer. This is already an intense color so usually you don’t need a lip liner underneath, more so because it already has a decent staying power. It has no fragrance to it. All in all, a good product with hydrating properties and intense pigmentation!
