Hi, all makeup geeks! 🙂
This is my first product review and I am reviewing an impulse purchase today. When it comes to matte lipsticks, I have always loved to explore new brands and shades, especially pinks and nudes, because most of them usually disappoint me (or maybe I’m finicky :P). Sephora now has more than 40 shades in this Cream Lip Stain range. However, most of the shades are hard to find in Sephora stores in India. Out of the 21 shades that I’ve tried, I can assure you that all the shades in this range are highly pigmented, lightweight and matte. Let’s get started with the review now.
What it is:
A silky, long-lasting lip stain that keeps lips covered with bold color from AM to PM—no need to reapply or touch up throughout the day.
What it does:
This bestselling, high-coverage lip color glides on smooth and transforms from a creamy texture into a silky, lightweight stain. Infused with avocado oil, the long-lasting formula delivers rich color that feels comfortable, is never sticky, and won’t dry out lips.
The options are (nearly) limitless! This stain comes in matte and satin finishes, and a wide range of richly-pigmented colors.
-Apply directly to lips.
-Start in the center of lips and smooth outwards toward corners of mouth.
My Experience with Sephora Collection Pink Souffle Cream Lip Stain:
So, talking about this product in particular, I can start off by saying that it has a very creamy and lustrous texture. Plus, nothing can beat the yummy taste of this lip stain. Oh, my god! I really want to chew it down. Undoubtedly, it has a long staying power as well. The color really suits me since I have a fair skin tone but I do not think this shade is apt for darker skin tones.
One thing I noticed as soon as I came home was that the shade differs when swatches on the hand and when applied on the lips. I guess I should have tried it directly on my lips. Never mind! It’s actually perfect for everyday use. But I would highly suggest you to try the lip stain directly on the lips at the store as its hand swatch can mislead you.
Now let’s talk about this shade Pink Souffle. If you already have the shade 7 Cherry Blossom, then you need not splurge another $14 on this one. No one can really tell the difference between these two shades, especially after application. Also, it bothers me that my lips look double the size when I have this shade on. But then I feel most of the light pink shades do the same to my lips.
Since this shade accentuates the lips, it is a great shade from thin to medium sized lips but I would not suggest it for already plump lips. I can end the review by saying that the product isn’t a complete failure. You might end up loving it or you might not even like it.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Sephora Collection Pink Souffle Cream Lip Stain?
I am not sure if I would like to get this shade again. You may give it a try if you like the shade.
