I already reviewed Sephora Khol pencil in Mysterious Blue and today I am reviewing Sephora Khol Pencil in Pencil Plum-Shimmer.

An ultra-pigmented, long-lasting kohl pencil for lining the eye contour and inner rims of the eyes.

Intensify your eyes by enhancing the eye contour and inner rims with deep, lasting color. This kohl pencil provides a brightening effect by creating contrast, making the whites of the eyes appear brighter and the rest of the eye more dramatic. The creamy texture glides on, blends easily, and provides optimal comfort for all-day wear.

Suggested Usage:

• Before applying, sharpen pencil for a precise line.
• Blend with a foam applicator to create a smoky eye effect.
• To extend wear, apply a slightly powdery base to the edge of the eyelid prior to applying the kohl pencil.
• To create an intense, long-lasting smoky eye: apply to base of lashes before applying eye shadow.

My Experience with Sephora Long Lasting Khol Pencil in Plum Shimmer:

The Plum Shimmer is a mystic purple shade with golden shimmer. The texture of this khol pencil is creamy and smooth, the shade is dark purple and pigmented. It has a soft and creamy texture which gives a subtle, dramatic, and natural look.  Its fragrance free and easy to apply.  It does not blend, smudge or feather off. I loved the shade and it gives a smooth finish. In one stroke, it comes out pretty dark.

This shade suits almost every skin tone; the colour is superbly rich and pigmented. It can be applied as eyeliner or on waterline or can be used for smokey eyes and the lasting power is also pretty good.  I tested it on waterline and it lasted me for around five to seven-eight hours. The drawback of this product is that its hard to sharpen and while sharpening, it breaks off easily and it is not waterproof. Overall, I love this dark purple colour and it’s easy to apply and smudge free, I liked it and its better than Mysterious Blue, though both are different shades, but I found this one better.
