Sephora Precision Sponge Review
Hello Beauties,

Festive season has started and lots of parties are coming around, I hope you all are excited about this. π Party season means another excuse for us to get dressed and look pretty. π Today I am going to review a makeup application tool for you all. I am sure most of you are aware of the much raved beauty blender and this precision sponge from Sephora is a cheaper dupe of same or not read on to find out.
Price:
$13 I got it for $7 during sale.

Product Claim:
Sephora Precision Sponge makes it easy to achieve complexion perfection. Apply foundation, concealer, and blush with this advanced, contoured tool; you can even layer different colors strategically without mixing. Use the rounded end of the sponge to cover large areas of the face and the pointed end to reach trickier spots and angles.
My Experience with Sephora Precision Sponge:
I have heard good things about beauty blender and wanted to own one, but when I went to buy that it was out of stock and then I found this sponge which was less than half the price of beauty blender and looked of the same kind.
To tell you all how it works, this sponge when kept under running water does not change its size as the beauty blender does. I use this sponge mainly to apply foundation, and for application, it does good work. The finish is comparable with a stippling brush. It does give beautiful airbrush kind of finish, which looks flawless. But with this I end up using more product than the stippling brush, as this sponge absorbs more product. I use the rounded base to apply foundation and I use the pointy tip to apply concealer and it does a good job in areas under the eye and near the nose.
I have tried using this sponge wet as well as dry and the results were almost same. However, I find it very tough to remove stains from this sponge. Once washed it takes a good amount of time (8-10 hours) to get dry. As it is made of latex-free, antibacterial material it never smells bad or discoloured till now.
Pros of Sephora Precision Sponge:
- Gives nice airbrush kind of flawless finish
- Can be used wet or dry
- Covers tricky area near nose and eye also
- Latex-free, antibacterial material
- Not pricey
Cons of Sephora Precision Sponge:
- Absorbs more product
- Stains are hard to remove.
IMBB Rating:
4/5
Would I recommend Sephora Precision Sponge?
In Totality, I like how it applies the foundation, the coverage and the finish. But it does absorb a lot of product and that pinches your pocket when using a costly foundation π I recommend this sponge to everyone looking for a cheap dupe of beauty blender. But if you are a beauty blender fan then you pay more and stick to that only. π
Would I repurchase Sephora Precision Sponge?
I think I will try real beauty blender next. π

It doesn’t look as good as beauty blender π Thanks for reviewing yaar, I think I will go for beauty blender only. π A cheaper substitute is not necessarily as good.
thats right Kadambari π
I found this review helpful. But yeh, I would prefer to invest a little more for the beauty blender. π
