I am back with another review and this time, I decided to review an amazing discovery that I had recently got. Yes, this amazing discovery is a very calming and soothing milk I got from Sephora. The two things which I can’t stay without in my life are makeup removers and all flavored lip balms. Somehow, I always feel the Sephora products available in India are always overpriced as compared to the prices in the US. Like I don’t know who would pay INR 1000 for a tweezer that does the same work as a tweezer for INR 30. I picked this mini variant of Sephora Cleansing Milk during my stay in the USA a couple of months ago. I decided to finally begin using it after I was done with my Bioderma Micellar Water. Apart from the complaining, let’s move on to today’s review.
$8 for 50 ml.
My Experience with Sephora Soothing Cleansing Milk for Face and Eyes:
The Sephora Soothing Cleansing Milk comes in a white-colored tube packaging with flip open cap. It’s easy to use since we can dispense the appropriate amount of product onto a cotton pad which is what I prefer using for makeup removal. The tube dispenses an appropriate amount of product and only a pea-sized is mostly required (at least for me). The color of the remover is white and it has a thick cream-like consistency. One can compare the consistency to Lakme Cleansing Milk but only much thicker.
The fragrance of this product is floral and very mild since strong scents always bother me. It claims to be enriched with macadamia oil, which makes it beneficiary when it comes to removing makeup. The product on application feels like a thick heavy moisturizer cream. After some time of application, it tends to remove all traces of makeup which can be visible onto the cotton pad. Face feels squeaky clean after a single (if it is not waterproof makeup) swipe.
For waterproof makeup, additional swipes are required. The product feels extremely cooling and does not have any kind of tingling or burning sensation that I normally feel with most makeup removers. The claims for soothing definitely hold true for this one.
This makeup remover does not leave skin stretchy unlike normal makeup removers. Even though I have extremely sensitive skin, I did not experience and breakouts as of yet since most makeup removers tend to be very harsh for my skin. After each use, this leaves a nice moisturized, cleansed skin. As per the instructions, I make sure to follow up my cleansing routine with a toner. Since I have extremely dry and sensitive skin, this product works really well for me. It may feel a little heavy for oily skin beauties post usage. One needs just a pea-sized amount onto a cotton pad to remove daily wear makeup.
