After having lip colors from this brand, I thought to lay my hands on the eyeliners also. So, I ended up purchasing this one from its High Precision range. This range has different shades to choose from and I thought to give a shot to dark brown color. Lets find out more about it!

My Experience with Seventeen 03 Dark Brown High Precision Liner:

Experimenting with different brands sometimes subject to disappointment. I already own the black color liner and thought to give a try to some new color. I chose the shade Dark Brown, of which the tester was not available at the counter, but the color doesn’t comes out true as it more on black side rather than brown. I had expected it to be dark brown; something like Cadbury Bournville. Moreover, it is supposed to be waterproof which, again, is not true.

It has pretty good wear time of about 4 hours, but even few drops of water are enough to remove the color. You don’t have to invest in a separate eye makeup remover if you own this eyeliner. One swipe is enough to get the desired amount of color and once dried and set, it stays and doesn’t budge. But, some care has to be taken like you must not rub your eyes and avoid contact with water. It has very fine tip for precise application of eyeliner, true to its name.

The entire tube is in dark brown color tube with the screw mechanism cap over . The shade name and all the other details are mentioned on the cap of the tube. It has very fine thin brush for fine and precise application.

The consistency of the eyeliner is liquid and almost feels like water, but it really has good pigmentation . The best part is that it dries to matte finish which is a plus for me. It is more like a charcoal black color than brown after application.

• Shade is not true dark brown, as mentioned
• I find it bit pricey (almost equal to INR 840)
• Not a waterproof product – contrary to what the brand claims
• Availability in India

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Seventeen 03 Dark Brown High Precision Liner?
No, I think I will try some other brand to get the desired shade. This product will definitely reduce the cost of makeup remover as water will act as an eyeliner remover for this range, and whether you like this property or not, it’s entirely up to you.
