This concealer is very clutch friendly and can be carried anywhere easily allowing repeat applications as and when necessary. I love the handy dandy size of this and I also love that it comes with a mirror attached! What more could a girl ask for? I am also fan girling completely over its safety seal, so I know that despite being a drugstore product, no one has stuck their dirty fingers in what I am about to buy. The lid shuts securely and I am yet to embark on any exciting adventure to depot this, I have not felt the need to because this is very sturdy and sleek, but if I do I shall keep you updated!

My experience with the Seventeen Phwoarr Paint Heavy Duty Under Eye Concealer:

Immediately, I do need to point out that this comes in only two shades, so it will not be able to help out all you pretty ladies, but if this falls in your shade selection, then boy are you going to love it! In the summer when I am more tan, or if I am not getting enough sleep and my dark circles are really bad then I do feel that this shade (medium) that I have is a bit too light for me. In those instances I try to pull this off as a highlighter, but it does not succeed that much in that aspect. What works best is using this for concealing. I think that is solely what this product is meant for! I also think this is because I have more yellow in my skin tone and this concealer has a bit of salmon in it and this is why in certain conditions, this concealer is too light for me! In the winter time though it does work fine for me.

I have to tell you about its salmon peachy colour a bit more in that these are the colours that cancel out the darkness that we have in our under eye areas so that is why this product is really good for dark circles. So I am a huge fan of the fact that it evens out my under eye area’s skin colour too as it does its job. The texture of this product is quite creamy. It is also quite thick so I can add one tip in for you that would be to get a little bit of product with your brush and transfer onto your fingers and then rub it between your thumb and forefinger to warm it up. This will help you apply this product a lot better as it changes the concealer’s thickness and makes it a bit easier to work with. This also helps it blend easily. Otherwise the delicately thin under eye area could actually feel draggy as you use this product, causing more harm than good actually. If you do not like using your fingers at all, I suggest blasting this with your hair dryer for a few seconds!

This concealer does not settle into fine lines making it perfect for use for mature women too. Even after I set this with a powder this did not cake up for me at all. This heavy duty baby is slowly becoming my best friend! It is no wonder this is named ‘Phwoarr’, say that a few times! I love the amount of product we get for the price too, compare this with Bobbi Brown’s 1.2 grams for almost GBP 19!

Pros of Seventeen Phwoarr Paint Heavy Duty Under Eye Concealer:

  • Sleek packaging
  • Mirror inside
  • Provides heavy duty cover
  • Does not cake or crease

Cons of Seventeen Phwoarr Paint Heavy Duty Under Eye Concealer:

Thick in consistency

Would I repurchase or recommend the Seventeen Phwoarr Paint Heavy Duty Under Eye Concealer ?
I would love to recommend this to everyone, but I know with only two shades available not everyone would be suited to this product. If you are on the lighter shades of skin colour then this could be a favourite! Definitely try it out because once applied and set, this product is not moving anywhere. And with 12 grams of product I do not think that we need to repurchase this any time soon.
