My Take on Shahnaz Husain Chocolate Nourishing Cream:

This is my first chocolate crème and I have been using it regularly since the past one month and more and have been very much satisfied with the results I am getting out of this product.  Many of us do not realize that chocolate is not only great to eat, but also makes a great face cream for your skin. Chocolate, especially dark chocolate, is rich in antioxidants that help to keep your skin healthy.

The crème stands by most of the claims given by the company.  It does fully hydrates the skin and regular use makes the skin healthy and glowing. The glow can be seen clearly and also the uneven skin tone is rectified to a major extent. The best part is the chocolate aroma. I mean it smells highly of chocolates that I adore. The aroma stays on for some time after applying it and then it slowly fades away in a light relaxing chocolate smell. You can actually sense the beautiful aroma even after some hours of applying this crème.

face pack

The consistency of this crème is thick but it spreads and gets absorbed easily into the skin taking away the dryness instantly. It actually feels very light once it gets absorbed. I was suffering from dry patches on my skin this month, which were taken care of fully by this chocolate crème. Regular use, once and sometimes twice, has made my skin look healthy and glowing and I do not feel like using even a tinted moisturizer on my face in regular use. Kohl with a natural looking lipstick is all that I require for a daily wear.

Final effect, you can judge the difference (all the 3 pictures are taken in natural light one after the other).  The packaging is simple yet efficient and does not get messy at all while taking out the crème.

face cream

This crème does not leave my face greasy at all and its effect can be seen even after 6-7 hours of applying it. I have not seen any breakouts after using it. It can even be used as a night crème and actually the soothing aroma helps to relax you better in the night.

Pros of Shahnaz Husain Chocolate Nourishing Cream:

  • Lovely aroma. The chocolate fragrance is divine.
  • Instant relief from dry/patchy skin.
  • Thick yet quickly absorbing texture.
  • Does not leave the skin greasy at all.
  • Easy-to-use and carry-around kind of packaging.
  • Regular use makes the skin healthy, even and glowing.
  • Can be used both during the day and as a night crème.

Cons of Shahnaz Husain Chocolate Nourishing Cream:

  • A little pricey for the quantity one gets.
  • Oily-skinned women should prefer using it in winters as in the summers it may be a bit heavy for them.
  • Do not expect instant results. Wait for at least 15 days to actually see it work.

Do I Recommend/Will I Repurchase Shahnaz Husain Chocolate Nourishing Cream?

There are very few crèmes that actually works on my dry skin and that too in winters. So, I would be picking it up in winters for sure plus exotic chocolate aroma is an added advantage. In summers, as I tend to sweat more, I would prefer using a more matte effect light daily crème. I recommend it to all those who suffer from dry skin problem and those who love chocolate in any form.
