Let me tell you some very interesting facts about African Black Soap first: This soap is made from the ashes of plantain skin, palm leaves, palm oil from leaves, and cocoa pod. My Experience with Shea Moisture African Black Soap Clarifying Mud Mask:
I love pampering my skin with facial massages and face masks and quick packs and masks have always been a favorite. This face pack is one such quick and easy to use product that gives good results. As per the instructions, I kept it on my face for 10 minutes and then removed it with a clean wash cloth. There is enough quantity of product to cover face and neck for one-time use.
This mask spreads easily, doesn’t feel heavy or sticky on the skin. The smell is mild and pleasant, so would not be an issue for sensitive noses. It didn’t irritate my skin. It dries up slowly and nicely in 10 minutes. I mention this because some packs that are of thin consistency like this one tend to dry up fast and stretch the skin, but I felt no such issue with this pack.
However, I feel that in one use one can’t totally test the claims of any product, so is the case with this face pack. It definitely brightens the skin and it does make my skin look a bit clearer, but the results are only temporary.

Yes, it is inexpensive and gives good results, so it is worth a try, but no I would like to try other African black soaps and mud masks though.
