Shimmery Green and Brown Smokey Eye Makeup Tutorial

Shimmery Green and Brown Smokey Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hello everyone,

It’s been so long since I did an eye makeup tutorial. I love doing eye makeup and keep experimenting but I create such a mess around while doing eye makeup with all the products lying here and there and then once I am done I realise what I have done. 😀 😀 For the past few days I gave my eye shadow palette some rest and stuck to basic single colour eye shadow, kohl and eyeliner.

But now I am planning to pull out my eyeshadow palette back and start experimenting again with the not so wearable eye shadows from my teeny meeny collection.

Okay so let’s go ahead with the tutorial.

Today I am going to show you how to get this eye makeup look…

Step 4

Color 2

Now take a shimmery light green and apply it on the centre of your eyelid. Apply shimmery green colour right at the centre of your eyelid to pop up your eyes. Now blend this with the dark green eye shadow.

Step 5

Color 3

Take light green color and apply it on the inner 1/3rd of your eye and blend it with the shimmery green colour applied at the centre of the eyelid.

Step 6

Now take matte black colour and apply it on the outer V over the green colour extending it till the crease. Use of black colour is to intensify the outer V.

Step 7

Take dark brown colour (marked 5 on the palette) and swirl it over the crease to blend any sharp outer edges

Step 8

Apply the highlighter of your choice. (I have used shadow no.6 marked on the palette)

Step 9

Apply peacock green eyeliner pencil on the waterline and black eyeliner pencil on the outer part of the waterline.

Step 10

Using a small precision brush apply a shimmery cream colour (I have used shadow no.6 marked on the palette) eye shadow in the inner corner of your eyes.

Step 11

Apply black eyeliner on your eyelid creating a winged look and complete your look by curling your lashes and applying mascara.

Here’s the final look:

I noticed Makeupgeek brushes there – how are their shipping policies? and how long do they take to deliver? m a big fan of Marlena 😀

    1. Thanks so much Aarbee.. *thankyou*

Inch pinch Marlena is my fav too.. *haan ji* *haan ji* I ordered some 5 brushes and they were delivered within 3 weeks.. I wasn’t expecting them to get within 3 weeks as I opted for the lowest shipping which was around $5. I think the shipping rates have increased now. 🙁

But I love the brushes they are awesome.
