Hi Everyone, 🙂
Today, I am reviewing an eyeliner that I have been most fond of these past few months. It’s the Shiseido Inkstroke Eyeliner Shikkoku Black.
An ultra-smooth, highly pigmented water-resistant gel eyeliner that applies effortlessly in one stroke.
$30/INR 1900 approximately. Available in India at Sephora.
My Experience with Shiseido Inkstroke Eyeliner Shikkoku Black:
It is available in 6 colors – black , forest green, burgundy, navy blue, gray and chocolate brown. I have the one is black and it’s the “blackest” blackest black gel liner that I have used in a long time.
It comes packed in this little pot. The little stand you see at the centre of the pot is actually to swipe off the excess liner – I mean how genius is that! The texture of the liner is creamy and glides on like a dream – one stroke and you get this fully-packed black liner. It is super pigmented and totally saturated with color.
The liner dries quickly but gives you enough time to play with before it sets. It lasts all day long. I have worn it for good 8-9 hours and it has never feathered, smudged, cracked or crumbled. It has never irritated my eyes. I have also used it on my waterline many times and it has been quite comfortable. The eyeliner is also water resistant. It comes off easily with an oil-based remover.
I actually have nothing bad to say about this liner. It is one of the best gel liners I have used and I would repurchase it without any second thought. Love it and recommend it!
