I’m reviewing a lipstick by Shiseido from their Perfect Rouge Tender Sheer range, in the shade PK 327. I think it’s pretty clear now that I love lip products :p I’m always on the hunt for the perfect MLBB shade, hopping from one brand to another to find it. I think, more natural everyday lipsticks excite me more than other brighter shades – not that I don’t love them, but I love MLBB lipsticks more! So this lipstick, even though it’s kind of a splurge, is one of my favourite products by Shiseido. I absolutely love it. Lemme tell you why….

My experience with Shiseido Perfect Rouge Tender Sheer Lipstick – PK 327:

You know one of those days when you just want a toned down lip, nothing too glamourous? That one lipstick that you can just swipe on without thinking, knowing it will look good? That’s this one. As the name of the range tells you, it is a very sheer lipstick. The colour PK 327 is a very rosy, fleshy pink. It just enhances your natural lip colour – the perfect My Lips But Better shade. With a single swipe I just get a nice fleshy pink tint, but I can build it up to a stronger rosy colour with just a few more swipes. I use this lipstick on those days where I want a neutral lip, but still some life in my lips. This is a very natural looking lipstick. It has a nice sheen to it, but I wouldn’t call it glossy. The texture of the lipstick is creamy, very smooth. It glides on your lips so easily, almost like a dream. It doesn’t last long on my lips though, on average I’ll get about 1-2 hours of wear time. So, the claim of “All-day Hydration” goes out the window. But when I’m wearing it, it doesn’t dry my lips out. Since it is a very creamy lipstick, it is hydrating but doesn’t give all day hydration. It’s got no shimmer in it, another point that makes it so every day-friendly. It gives a very effortless look, and feels very moist on my lips. The darker colours in the range do stain my lips a little, but this particular one, I think is too light for the stain to be noticeable. It would just blend right in with my natural lip colour. The lipsticks are packaged in a sleek dark plummish metal casing, with the inside a lighter, silverfish purple colour. The case shuts firmly with a click. The shape of the lipstick bullet is curved to fit the curve of your lip. (Obviously mine has now become more rounded due to use, but that did add a nice touch to it). The lipstick has no fragrance or taste, which will be a major plus point for a few.

• May be too sheer for some people
• No “name” of the product, only number

Would you repurchase Shiseido Perfect Rouge Tender Sheer Lipstick – PK 327?

No. As much as I love this product, I think I would try out other new products rather than buying the same one.

Yes! If you like sheer lipsticks, and are willing to spend a little more than most lipsticks, you could try this out!
