Sigma E32 Exact Blend Brush Review

Eyes type: mono lids, small eyes

Hi friends,

Hope all of you are doing great! I am here to share about another purchase from my eye makeup brush collection. Thanks to my SIL for introducing me to Sigma. Though I knew about this wonderful brand through IMBB, it was my SIL who compelled me to shop from this brand. However, I feel their products are more expensive than Sonia Kashuk, Ecotools etc. I have shopped for a couple of eye makeup products and brushes from Sigma. Today, I will share my views about Sigma E32 Exact Blend Brush.

Sigma E32 Exact Blend Brush Review

Price: $14
Product Description: The E32 Exact Blend Brush features a short, slightly flat and dense brush head best for precise blending or adding a pop of color to the outer corner of the eye. It features SigmaTech® fibres, which are synthetically engineered to outperform traditional animal hair. The technologically advanced filaments with specialized tips are developed to hold and deliver cream and powder products without any absorption into the bristles. Built to last, the fibers are hypoallergenic, antibacterial and will maintain their original shape and color even after several washes. The brush handle is made from lightweight, sustainably sourced wood that is durable and scratch-resistant.

My Experience with Sigma E32 Exact Blend Brush:

The brush has a sturdy metallic ferrule and a white, long wooden handle featuring synthetic dense black bristles. I would have appreciated a safety cover or cap with the packaging, though. Overall, it’s a pretty user-friendly and travel-friendly brush. I like the long, sleek wooden handle which provides a better grip for sweaty, nervous hands like mine. The brush head has perfect dimensions and flat and dense fluffy fibres to pick up ample color and pack on the eyelids. The bristles are soft enough and do not scratch my sensitive eyes.

Considering I have sensitive watery eyes, it is again a plus to see that these fibres are not at all itchy or scratchy. I have been using this flat dense brush for smudging my kohl and eye shadow along the lash line and it has never aggravated or accentuated my watery eyes. Oh yes, this exact blending brush is a multi-tasking brush as it packs on the punch of color on the eyelids apart from blending and diffusing harsh lines with its fluffy dense bristles. Not to forget, its flat shape and small head make it a good smudging brush as well. The fibers are soft on the skin yet firm enough to hold their shape without splaying or fraying even with rough handling or frequent usage.

I have washed it a couple of times. I also wipe the products from the bristles while using this brush for multitasking yet the brush has retained its soft texture and shape. Not to forget, there hasn’t been any shedding. Moreover, I find it perfect for my small monolids as it is neither too big nor too small for my eye makeup, unlike other eye makeup brushes. I also own the E25 Blending Brush from Sigma and often prefer that one over this E32 for blending, considering that one has long and fluffy loose-bristles. But, this brush will also serve the purpose as I have used this brush for whole eye makeup during travels.

Sigma E32 Exact Blend Brush Size

Overall, I feel that this brush can be a perfect all-in-one tool for beginners; it works great with every powder (matte and glittery) or shimmery eyeshadow along with working well with creamy eye shadows too. Not to forget, this brush picks up ample color to pack on the lids in one go and does not feel scratchy by any means. However, considering the price, I feel even Sonia Kashuk or Ecotools brushes also work well in terms of smudging, delivering color pay off or blending our eye makeup. But, Sigma fetches additional points for synthetic fibers. Personally, I would like to get it again considering its multi-purpose usage.
