Sigma E35 Tapered Blending Brush Review

Sigma E35 Tapered Blending Brush Review

Dear Beauties,

I am back with yet again a review of Sigma brush and this time its the MAC 222 dupe from Sigma E35 Tapered Blending brush.

From the time I started using eye makeup, I have been lusting after MAC brushes, but they cost a bomb and I just don’t have the heart to spend 2000 bucks on a single brush! I know they are a huge investment and would last me years, but still I am always on the look out for other cheaper brushes with same quality as MAC. Of course Sigma brushes are known for their quality and they have most dupes of MAC brushes!

Product Description:

Unique Feature: Longer, slightly firm bristles.  Function: Controlled application of crease color.  Recommended Use: Using just the tip of the brush to pick up color, apply product directly onto the crease and sweep through. Effect is blended, but defined.

My Experience with Sigma E35 Tapered Blending Brush:

If you are crazy after eye makeup and if you see lot of YT videos on eye makeup, you would know the importance of having a good blending brush! I don’t own many blending brushes apart from MAC 217 which is more of a multi purpose blush and Faces blending brush which I feel is scratchy after using my other Sigma brushes 😛

Sigma E35 is an exact dupe of MAC 222 brush which is a tapered blending brush and costs less than half MAC price! Its the perfect brush to blend out harsh edges in the crease especially if you have small eyes like me! It gives me the perfect amount of control while blending in the crease area.

The bristles are extremely soft and tapered from the front for that precise blending, you just need to dip the top bristles in the eyeshadow and apply it in the crease in light sweep motions to get that perfectly blended effect!

The packaging is classy with shiny black handle and silver writing on it. The length of the handle is perfect and very comfortable to use. I have washed this brush only a couple of times since I recently got it but it has never shed a single bristle, though it does stain lightly especially if used with darker colors but then it happens with MAC also and this does not effect the blending functionality of the brush in anyway.

You can also use this brush to blend out the brow bone highlight or concealer under the eyes especially if you are using a liquid concealer. Overall, I highly recommend this brush to everyone, its definitely a must-have in your kitty!

12$, I think MAC one costs 28$ – 30$

Pros of Sigma E35 Tapered Blending Brush:

  • Classic black handle.
  • Soft bristles.
  • Tapered bristles for precise blending in the crease area.
  • Does not feel scratchy.
  • Does not shed.
  • Works great in blending under eye concealer and brow bone highlight.
  • Must-have for smokey looks!
  • Exact dupe for MAC 222.
  • Easily available online.

Cons of Sigma E35 Tapered Blending Brush:

  • Might stain a little, but this is true for all MAC/Sigma brushes with white hair.
  • Its not synthetic 🙁
  • Can be easily ordered online, but comes with heavy shipping charges 🙁

IMBB Rating:
