Simple Cut Crease Eye Makeup Tutorial

Simple Cut Crease Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hi lovely ladies,

Today, for the first time, I tried doing an eye tutorial. I am super excited and hope you all like it. This eye makeup is inspired from the Arabic cut crease look, but I did not want to make it super dramatic, so kept the colours quite simple. This eye tutorial can be done with any colour eyeshadow of your choice. I truly believe for eye makeup tutorials, the photos should do the talk and not me. So, here I am with a simple cut crease photo tutorial.

Products Used:

Simple+Cut+Crease+Eye+Tutorial

  • Maybelline colour tattoo – bad to bronze.
  • Eye shadow – a black matte eye shadow and a soft pink brown eyeshadow.
  • Lakme rose powder.
  • Lakme Insta Liner.
  • Gel liner.
  • L’Oreal Million Lashes Mascara.

Brushes:

Kryolan small angle brush, Lakme absolute eye brush and Kryolan Face Brush (for setting concealer and to remove eyeshadow fall out).

Step-By-Step Tutorial:

Step 1:

Prime your eyes well – conceal dark circles if any and apply your eye primer.

Step 2:

To create a sharp graphic wing, use a cello tape, it will work well as a guideline for our eye makeup.

Step 3:

Draw a line at the outer V corner of your eye with the help of a small angle eye brush. The idea is to create maximum intensity at the outer V of the eye. Use a jet black gel liner and create the line.

Step 4:

Now, drag the line inward and create a sharp crease line with the same angle brush.

Step 5:

Create a small triangle at the outer V corner of the eye with the same gel liner and the angle brush.

Step 6:

Remove excess of gel liner from the angle brush and slowly create a gradient effect by smudging the gel liner inward. Take care to cover only the lid outer third of the eye.

Step 7:

Now take your favourite black matte eyeshadow and apply at the outer V of the eye and start blending inwards of the eye and stop right at the outer third of the eye. The idea is to cover all the area where you have applied your gel liner. Now, apply the Maybelline colour tattoo in Bad to Bronze to create a base for our eyeshadow in the moving lid.

Step 8:

Remove the tape and apply a pinkish soft brown eye shadow over the Maybelline colour tattoo base.

Step 9:

Use a moisturizer or a makeup remover and clean up the edges of the eye. Do not forget to clean up the crease line too for a cut crease eye look.

Step 10:

Apply your favourite kohl and mascara to complete the eye look.

And you are done!
