Simple and Effective Stress Busting Techniques

‘The Big Picture’ Thoughts:

Be nice. Be kind. Forgive your enemies. Love humanity. Be passionate. Be grateful. Apologise when you act like an idiot. Express joy. Laugh. Empathise. Slow down and admire life. Breathe deeply. Be brave. Praise. Share. Love. Celebrate.

‘The Small Picture’ Thoughts:

Aaaargh PIMPLE! Does this dress make me look fat? I want “hot” legs. Must save money for that “not-needed-but-wanted makeup” item. No, DO NOT hit offensive idiots, you can kill them later when you rule the world. Life is unfair. I want XYZ’s luck, money, wardrobe and looks. Oh My God, I missed that deadline! Where the hell did time go? Don’t panic. Try to think more “the big picture” life thoughts. No use, I am not Rajneesh Osho.

‘Big Picture and Small Picture’ thought:

How can I be reduce my stress, and still avoid littering the whole neighbourhood and workspace with bodies of idiots who I kill?

I have been more stressed in the past two months than I have ever been in my usually easy-going life. Until a fortnight back, my usual routine was panic, more panic, check emails, pace up and down the room, panic again and sleep. I had my final exams coming, but I was not panicking about that. Then, I faced some disappointment, tore half my hair out, bawled like a dying kitten, slept it off, and decided to take charge again. It is not easy to handle stress. It is not easy to control panic attacks and it is definitely not easy to relax your mind when you are inundated with work, deadlines, internet shopping lists and in case of a lot of women, demanding kids and families. I am not even counting the pressure to shoot ourselves in the mouth every time we see a pretty handbag/dress/pair of shoes that is way out of our league. It is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to pay attention to the “big picture” type of thoughts when all you can think about is that thing you should have done three days ago but forgot to do.

I have tried various stress-busting techniques in the past few weeks and a lot of them have worked. I still don’t say that they have completely turned me into Buddha, but I think they will continue to help me until I reach some plane of fulfilment (preferably chock-a-block with cotton candy and cheesecake).

Here are a few techniques that work:

Get Up and Go Out:

Calvin and Hobbes

This may seem very simple but it is one of the best stress-busting techniques ever. Whenever you feel like you’re gritting your teeth enough to make them snap off, get up and just leave the house. Take a walk in an area that you like, visit an exhibition, go to the park and ride high on a swing and so on. Recently, in one of my blackest moods, I just went out with a purpose to annihilate the next fool-without-a-watch who dares to ask me the time. Instead, I ended up discovering a lovely café barely ten steps from the usual Café Coffee Day outlet and spent two hours there grinning like a child who had walked inside a closet only to discover Narnia. The café had its menu on yellowed papers in the form of an old newspaper, it had a blue cabinet which I have plans to steal, its light yellow walls were full of Van Gogh replicas, it had books for reading AND it had ridiculously hot waiters who looked like they had stepped out of a Calvin Klein catalogue. That one excursion made me last through the next two days without threatening idiots with third degree torture. Next time you are stressed, go and find a new place in town. I know that just because my town is super pretty does not mean that every town in India is. No worries. Even if you live in a passably average city, I am sure you will STILL find something interesting. If nothing else, there is always the neighbourhood park with the swing.

Just Let It Out:

Kickboxing

I hate all those anti-stress columns which advocate Yoga and meditation to help us last through tough times. I am sorry but when I am jittery and at my worst, the last thing I need is some long-haired instruction from some Yoga DVD spouting new age schpeel like “envision yourself surrounded by radiant light” and what not. That is for calm days, that is for happy days, that is for the relaxed “divination” type classes and not when I am surrounded by Dementors and Death Eaters. If you cannot meditate but want to get rid of some stress, do some intense physical activity and let out whatever it is that is annoying you. Go for a long run, dance to your favourite songs for a few hours, kickbox and pretend to hit your enemies where it would hurt the most, attack the gym, go for a swim and feel powerful or just do anything which makes you feel active and mighty, not something that makes you believe that you are simply a ball of light floating in space.

Cultivate A Hobby:

Singing

Some people are born awesome and talented – like Sachin Tendulkar, or like our mothers who can cook a mean dinner from scratch. Most of us have some talent or hobby – singing, dancing, gardening, painting and so on. Each time it gets a little too much, retreat and do something you love. Of course, then there are talentless souls like me who cannot do anything excellently, but are mediocre at a wide variety of things. Never mind. We can still be awesome. Who says that just because you sing like a dying cat in the rain, you should not even hum? Sing, I say! Sing loudly and shamelessly (not in company, of course). Sing terrible songs from the 90’s like ‘Macarena’, ‘Kya Ada Kya Jalwe Tere Paaro!’ or ‘Sarkai Lo Khatiya’ or even some Justin Bieber nonsense if that is your thing. I sing ad jingles from old 90’s advertisements when I cannot take it any longer. My favourites are that “Doodh doodh” ad and “Hamara Bajaj.” When I am terribly on the edge, I also go for “Ek chidiya anek chidiya” which forms a part of some of my earliest memories. I am sure that my mother deeply regrets the fact that she never forbade me from watching TV when I was 3 and impressionable.

Apart from therapeutic singing, you can also go for something much less stressful to others’ auditory senses like taking up a new sport. How about fencing? Imagine attacking your troubles with an épée and destroying them. What about a new language? I learnt French from the ages of 14 to 17. Besides acquiring fluency in the language, I had a rather happy teenage with very little drama and only occasional outbursts. I suppose my mind was too engaged in learning a new skill and did not allow me to brood over whatever problems that self-obsessed teens face to turn into sabre-toothed tigers.

If all else fails, you could also go and learn to play a musical instrument. You could try something serene line the piano or wait, how about drums? They are perfect. Imagine beating something relentlessly with sticks and then claim that you are making music!

Anyhow, the bottom line is that you need something to refresh your mind and take away the attention from whatever it is that is causing you trouble.

Avoid Coffee/Tea:

Coffee

I have given in to this temptation way too many times to not sympathise with any stressful soul who resorts to drinking a vat of coffee or tea to get through a stressful period. That does not help. I love coffee but when you’re stressed, all it will do is turn you into a bigger bundle of nerves than you were before. So, the next time you are stressed and a cup of strong coffee or tea is beckoning you with promises of making all your problems go away, look at it, stick your tongue out and say “Pshawwwww!” It’s just coffee, not your guardian angel in a Valentino dress. If you must, then go for a fancy-schmancy cup which has 1 ounce of coffee and 20,000 ounces of milk, cream and sugar. It may be pseudo but it is far better for your frayed nerves in tough times. Excessive caffeine will only make you bounce up and down in rage more than usual and probably keep you up at night and brood unnecessarily over your troubles.

Entertain Yourself:

This one is simple. Do a marathon of your favourite TV series. I have a friend who watches ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’ every night because he says it reminds him of his happy childhood. I go for happy movies and sitcoms. Some people go for sad ones instead to remind themselves how much better their own lives are. It’s a very personal thing. You liked watching ‘Duck Tales’ and ‘Tale Spin’ on Disney Hour years ago? Get the DVDs and enjoy. Old Zee TV/Café dramas your thing? Go and find stuff like ‘Banegi Apni Baat’ or ‘Full House’ or ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’. No turn for TV? Then, go for movies that you love and which remind you of happier times. Watch ‘Andaaz Apna Apna’ or ‘Baby’s Day Out’. Or even ‘Harry Potter’, particularly for people who went for ‘Philosopher’s Stone’ when they were 4 feet-something pre-teens and came out of the hall at the end of ‘Deathly Hallows’ as 5 feet-something adults. The basic idea is again the same – to escape and let your mind be as happy as it was in another time. Let’s call it your very own Patronus.

For book lovers, it is even easier. My first choice is always Calvin and Hobbes. If Calvin’s wisecracks won’t make you laugh, Bill Watterson’s superb drawing will. Read childhood comics like Tintin or Archie’s or even Asterix to escape for sometime. Read Harry Potter or better still, listen to the audio book and laugh at Stephen Fry’s rendition of Dobby or Peeves or even pompous Percy. Bookshops are an excellent place to go and hide in for a couple of hours. Nothing can hurt you there, except perhaps the enormous bill that you will have to pay when you walk out of the place with a trunk of books.

Surrender:

cupcakes

No, this does not mean putting down your guns and coming out with your hands over your head screaming like a banshee. It is just about acceptance. Sometimes, there are certain stressful or annoying things that you just cannot remedy. I don’t mean that noisy neighbour. You can always threaten him with your Ninja sword. I mean those little annoyances like a broken heel, the missed deadline, the lost note of 500 bucks, the cranky boss, the 40-degree weather, the unavailable brand of chips, the government, the dream job that you did not get when you were 25, and so on. Changing all that is not in your power. So, just let it go. I am not asking you to stop trying, sit back and say, “Oh well, can’t change so-and-so thing. So, I’ll just die then.” Try where there is chance. For example, exercise to lose that stubborn roll of fat, make a schedule to stay on top of things, make an effort at work to get what you want. It’s just about realising when to turn into Wonder Woman and when to let go and channel Buddha.

Shop:

Shopping

Now, I know this is almost like letting a hungry man-eater go and say hello to a group full of obese people but that is not my aim. I know a lot of us are impulsive shoppers and turn into positive monstrosities screaming “Want this! Want THAT! Pack that one too! Yes, and this!” every time we are a little tensed. However, it is true that that this act DOES calm us down. Unfortunately, it also breaks our banks. There is a simple solution. Keep the card limit low or better still, only carry the amount of cash that you can afford to spend. Let’s say that you carry a specific amount of money with you to the mall and decide that you will only splurge on one of these things – a dress, a very good perfume, a pair of shoes or a bag. Buy an item that you REALLY want and return home skipping with joy. Mission accomplished and bank still happy.

Gratitude List:

Gratitude

This is slightly new age-y and not everyone will have enough patience for this. However, it usually works unless you are terribly incensed and would rather kill a fluffy little bunny than let go of your anger. Make a list of all that you think you are grateful for. It could be anything – family, health, new car, looks, that hot model/actor/cute random person you have a crush on, house, pet, money, iPad, job, friends, rare vintage bottle of wine, perfect makeup item, Hugh Grant, a pair of absurdly pretty shoes, brains, talent and so on. By the time your list is complete, you will feel rather smug and will start to believe that if you could have all those things, who can stop you from having whatever else it is that you want?

It is definitely not easy to stay cheerful and stress-free all the time. However, there is no need to be on the edge when you can easily stay calm with only a little extra effort. I cannot think of any other ways to stay relaxed but maybe there are more. Please share them. Meanwhile, I shall go and sing the Brittania jingle.

  1. AMazing article…….. Love it Love it…….
Well i do things like GO out and find new place or watch FRIENDS and Harry Potter………. Good One……

  2. shopping is a great stressbuster for those who are shopoholics… :)) Whenever ia m stressed out or having panic attacks due to a bit of anxiety, reasons can be anything for me under the sun like before exams even if i am well prepared.. i deep breathe and get lost in my sweet old childhood memories when we dont know what stress is and where ignorance was a bliss. or if i am at home i sketch or cook something that i have not done before… and yes forgive and forget helps a lot when we see the bigger picture:)) loved the aricle…  ..

      1. Haha, thanks, Rashmi. Carrying less money always helps. If you don’t have money to spend too much, you’d never be riddled with post-shopping guilt. 😛

    1. Thank you, Niesha. :happydance: :happydance: I like your idea of stress busting too. Good memories are always a great way to fight anxiety.

  4. great article ! I already do the ‘getting out of the house part. When i get anxiety attack or anger attack , i walk and walk . Somedays i think i might just walk around the ends of earth! And i read Calvin and Hobbes, garfield , peanuts ,tintin , i am juvenile in my tastes at 30 +.i read English classics literature.. you know thomas hardy, Jane austen and the others. 1. Thank you, Zee Bee! :happydance: Oh, I like walking as well! It helps “clear up” the mind sometimes. 😀 And I love Peanuts and Garfield too! :woot: :woot: I don’t think you can ever be too old to read comics. As far as Hardy is concerned, *shudder* I don’t think I can read him when my head is troubled with my own troubles. :struggle: Did the mistake of reading ‘Tess of the d’Urbervilles’ when I was awaiting my board exams’ results and it put me in a horrendously negative state of mind. :headbang: Imagine naming a kid ‘Sorrow’! :-/ Good grief! :headbang:

  5. Reading Enid Blyton puts me in a happy space……and great one JW….count me as your biggest fan :jaiho: :jaiho:

    1. Haha, thankee Jomol and Rashmi! :yahoo: :happydance: :happydance:
And Jomol, I love Enid Blyton books too! :woot: :woot: They also make me feel terribly hungry and I am usually munching on something every time I read the Famous Five or The Malory Towers or something. 😀

  6. Superbo article.. Jus reading it and the way u wrote it, lifted my mood. I am gonna take a print of it and sticking it to the wall infront of my study table.. Thanks alot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. JW..

Amazing.. though I love to have coffee/tea and I guess it helps me.. and hobbies.. and letting it out are my saviours..!

    Mast hai yaar..

  8. Hmm… At your age JW, I doubt you know how stress goes about its work. Most of the times the person isn’t even aware that he/ she is under stress, let alone take some measures. Most people, Rati and I included, cannot just turn off the switch and stop thinking about their work/ business/ etc. Even if we are shopping, having dinner, taking a walk, we are constantly thinking and talking about IMBB. And we never realize the stress that it causes us. Fortunately, we are in this together and we talk to each other, and get this out of our system. For families where only one of the spouse is keyed into his/ her work, communications break down happens between partners. The partner who is stressed out would be reticent, irritable, and moody and it does not help relationships.

To me the most practical approach is sleep. Sleep for long hours. This cuts off the thought process and renews your soul. But sleeping for long hours doesn’t come easily when you are running in your life. You’d have to force it. If you are wise enough to realize its importance that is. 🙂

    1. Sanjeevji…..agree “SLEEP”ismy greatest stress buster too…..isliye I sleep early at 10 o clock….. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

      1. Thank you for giving me a stressfree job and lifestyle Sanjeevji and Rati….I realize the importance now… 😥 😥 😥 😥 😥

          1. That apart, but really and touchwood….I really think I have a great job where I can come, work, and forget that I have any other stress in life…..its a revelation, but a happy one at that :pompom: :happydance: :happydance:

            1. OMG….I have to be thankful about so many things in life…..I am a very silly person who panics thinking this is not fair and that’s not fair, but looking at it now…….I cannot point a single thing that is unfair with me right now and I pray it continues…

                  1. Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…..you forgot to courier the Lakme capsule and vanity case……….my life is so stressful….its so unfair…..when will my courier come….I am having a bad day :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa:

                    1. and Yes, nothing is going right in my life, power cuts for two hours, no power cut on holidays, my favourite actor’s new malayalam movie is not coming up on Easter, I have so many problems in life…..and upar se….you haven’t couriered the capsules and the vanity case :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa:

    2. Oh, I can’t even imagine the amount of stress people face when they do actual jobs. I have never faced that kind of stress yet where it starts affecting other areas of life. Hopefully, I’ll pass that stage with the help of sleep. You’re right about that. Last year, I was quite low about something and all I did for my entire 2-week winter vacation was sleep and eat. Had to force it at first but it got easier once I realised how much better it made me feel. 🙂 🙂

  9. hi JW, loved ur article :victory2: :victory2:
wen i m super stressed, i just go out to a nearby coffee shop alone , or go shopping alone or do some cooking 🙂
I was mighty stressed around 6 months back and yoga did help 🙂
aaaaissshhhh cream ( Rich belgian chocolate in gelato and chocolate almond praline in BR) is my alll time-any time-intant stresss buster too :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
Playing with my 3 yr nephew is another thing i do often to get rid of some stress 🙂

    1. Thankee, Nupur! :yahoo: :happydance: I also cook when I am sometimes under pressure. I think it requires so much concentration and mind that you forget your troubles for some time. 😀 Even though I am Yoga girl through and through in normal times, Yoga never helps me in times of stress. It just irritates me even more. :headbang:
And ice cream! Good grief! I have a craving for the BR Chocolate Almond Praline now. We have a BR about a 5 minute walk from my house. :woot: Any minute now, I may run out of my house screaming for ice-cream.

      1. u know u know, i was a little stressed ystrday n i did some experimental cooking… i took some boiled rice and added some instant soup powder to it and lil water n microwaved it for few minutes …. it turned out prttty edible 😀 😀

u too likey BR…. :woot: :woot: but me liking gelatozzzzzz more now
        u have cocoberry thr????

        1. i hvent had BR since ages now.. :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: no coocberry too :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: but i had casata a few days back. :happydance: :happydance: :happydance: :happydance: :happydance: :happydance: :happydance:

          1. How can anyone live without BR or Cocoberry for more than a week? It’s a sin, you know. It’s written right there in the ‘Gluttons Guide to Good Food’. If we ignore ice cream, we are turned into slugs by the time we reach 50. True story.

            1. JW , u know theresss one Haagen Dazs, Rati k ghar k pass :teeth :teeth :teeth :teeth :teeth :teeth :teeth :teeth :teeth :teeth      :pompom: :pompom: :pompom: :pompom:

              1. Haagen Dazs? OMG! 😯 And still she commits the sin of shunning ice-cream! :waiting: Ghor kalyug, man. :smug: :smug: :smug:

                1. ya, dats what   n u know thrss one very famouss pastry shoppp called maximss, ghar se walking distance

        2. Wow, that sounds super simple! :woot: I am also going to try that rice and soup recipe. :yahoo: Sounds good for days when there is nothing “tasty” left to eat at home. 😛

I had too much gelato (is the plural gelati? ) a couple of years ago (like a couple of them every day) and got over my obsession pretty soon. 😛 And yes, yes, Cocoberry is also nearby, just a few shops from BR. My dad’s gone now to fetch ice cream. :happydance: :happydance: :happydance: Let’s see which one he’ll find less crowded and will then call home to demand preferred flavours. 😀 😀

          1. yaaa u try out and if it turns out welll u can write poshttt on IMBB doing my taariffffff 😀 😀
n incase u no like I ll tell that the recipe was originally given to me by Rati :happydance: :happydance: :happydance: :happydance:

aah, i no like coocoocberry , but Sanjeev n Rati , likey very much

waise i like the pink strawbeerryyyy icecream which we we get in ur Sec 19 market 😛 😛 (19 or 17 or 22 not sure 😐 )

            1. Hahaha, okay, deal about the recipe business. We’ll not tell Rati about the blame idea though. *does secret handshake* :secret2:

And the pink strawberry ice-cream! :lol2: :lol2: Hahahahaha! I have been having ever since I learnt to use my tongue for licking. :silly: You get it in Sector 17. It’s always been there and the nostalgic part of me rates it higher than every other ice-cream. 😛

              1. ihihhiih…..   I used to lurrvvvvvvvvvvv that pink aaaishcreammm n popcornnnnn u get thr :woot: :woot: :woot:

  10. another nice one from you JW..humourous and informative. I like the way you dismissed the meditation and yoga part. (but I am guilty of admitting that it does work for me). I have had my panic attacks and nothing beats understanding he reasons behind them Once the ‘technicalities’ are figured it is much easier to deal with them.

the other tries and tested methods are going out for that walk, shopping, talking to mom and husband . If I didnt have my mom and my husband by my side would just not know what to do. my husband typically dismisses off it as a simple thing (not tat he dosent understand the seriousness but its his way of telling me its no big deal) and my mom makes me laugh..her voice is enuf for me..

        1. thank you very much for the post and pictures Aruna, I am sorry, I couldnt be online, my hubby was not keeping well, was busy with his health and my work, now things are settling down and am I back to being normal 🙂 what plans for the weekend and hows the bonus-after math in your comp 😉

    1. agree with u aru and akhila.. When I feel more stress, I end up calling either my Mom or my husband.. My Mom is of great help to me at those times :teddy: as my Hus would be mostly busy.. and I do shopping, but end up something which is not at all necessary..
And JW, wounderful article and I like ur writing..

    2. Thankee, Aruna! :yahoo: Haha, I am generally a huge fan of yoga but for some reason, whenever I am a little over the edge, I lose patience for it. Maybe I am not “zen” enough for it yet. It’ll come with time, I hope. :methinks:

I agree about talking to mum bit! She not only makes me laugh but also dismisses certain issues like your husband does. It makes me realise that certain issues are not such a big deal after all. 😀

  11. Hey JW.. Great article..

I agree with the get and n go out and shopping mantra.. Works wonders for me… Hehehe…

Though of late.. I hv been playing with my 1 n 1/2 year old nephew.. N he helps me to totally get rid of my stress… Last month was extremely stressfull at work.. I wud come home.. Crib to my hubby.. Then play with my nephew.. Felt great to be home with them

    1. Thanks, Pia! And yes, playing with kids can be so great! I feel happier than usual when any cousin visits with his/her kids. It lightens up the atmosphere. 😀

  12. JW, as always a WONDERFUL article. Try your hand at full time writing, you would help a lot of peace–deprived, over-pressured, horrendously stressed corporate slaves like me. I just started my FRY-DAY with a truck full of TO-DO (and Die) things for work and home and reading your article made my day. I love the concept of GET OUT AND WALK … I really follow this at home and office tooo…. Shopping is good but I end up feeling more guilty than happy, so I avoid it painfully …. Keep it coming and MAY GOD BLESS YOU. :rose:

    1. Thank you for the kind words, Akhila! :woot: :happydance: And yes, shopping can sometimes be detrimental. I generally never go shopping alone when I am too stressed. Someone is always there to catch me by the collar and drag me away if I start getting too extravagant. 😛 Hopefully, you made it through “Fry-day” without any issues.

  13. Wonderful article JW. it will surely help many of us if we follow even one of these. In fact i will come back n read this one everytime i am stressed 😉 😉

  14. Awesome article..u write sooo well 🙂 Im gonna take a print out of this and keep it in the book im reading so that way I can read it everyday 🙂

  15. Tres bien! For me possibly the most relaxing thing is to just sing. I sing all the time, quite a LOT. I am not one of those trained singers, neither have I ever been in a band or anything. But singing is so essential to me, I can’t even force myself to sing a particular song. It has to be spontaneous. I LOVE stephen fry’s audio books. I am a big fan of him in general and his harry potter books are just so relaxing and wonderful, no one else is as great a reader as he. I often resort to retail therapy when I am feeling low. I unashamedly bought 5 tops and a skirt today just because I thought I deserved it after all the hectic weeks I have had. I don’t find yoga relaxing but some of those postures do drive aches and pains away. Of course, videos of movies, tv programmes, music videos , random youtube stuff etc are what keep me going. I always find them relaxing after a long hard day. I also find spending time with my younger cousins and friends(not necessarily kids) relaxing because they still have a sense of fun and innocence that my friends on their first jobs don’t seem to have anymore. I don’t live in a neighbourhood that has too many options for doing fun stuff, but I just like to go out and buy the daily groceries etc. I also taught myself to play the keyboard and trust me ladies, reading sheet music and playing the piano, at least simple tunes, isn’t really rocket science. And I totally agree with a crucial point that jabberwocky makes here. Letting go is the best way to destress yourself. As soon as you stop feeling for the situation, you start feeling normal again.

    1. Merci, Amrita! :happydance: I sing a lot too whether I am in tune or not. 😛 And yay for another Stephen Fry fan! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: Sometimes, when I can’t fall asleep, I listen to a chapter or two and it helps. 😀 Have you heard his rendition of the Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy? He’s brilliant at that too! :woot: :woot:

      1. i’m sure he must have read those too. he was a great friend of douglas adams. I have been reading his autobiographies lately and his first one ‘moab is my washpot’ is really great. an instant laugh can be guaranteed by watching ‘a bit of fry and laurie’ videos on youtube. they are enormously funny.

When I’m stressed,I usually find a way to laugh and get my happy hormones pumping. I turn on the music and doodle away while eating something sweet. Reading usually helps me too.
If all else fails, I just get a blanket and go to sleep. :shy: :shy: But,the thing is, I get stressed for no real reason at such awkward times…so that’s what I’m working on atm. :silly:

    1. Thankee, Pragny! I believe in getting a blanket and going to sleep too. And stressing for no real reason is the worst of all and hardest to beat. :headbang:

      1. Yup. Sleep fixes a lot of problems  ….and creates some too! :silly: (Late arrivals, anyone?)
I’m usually alright…but my Ma says I’m strange because I’m stressed all the time….I wonder if she’s right. Maybe we’re all constantly battling stress without realising it? :struggle:
