Simple Kind To Skin Purifying Cleansing Lotion

I got this from Sainsbury’s in England, but I believe this range is available everywhere around there at Tesco, Boots,  This is more like the Ayur of India 😀 at least that is what it reminds me off constantly, like how Ayur were to refine the range and come up with less fragrant and more sophisticated packaging :stars:  This is what you would get  never mind, I am not complaining because this is one of the few cleansers that are in a creamy form and yet feel very water based and light even for my oily skin.

This range from “Simple” has a  face wash too, which I have reviewed already and was a “mind blowing” skin-drying disaster, but to my surprise, this one was nice and I am so glad that I used this gentle, effective, softening cleanser which doesn’t leave a greasy trace or oiliness behind like most cream cleansers, which can wreak hell for oily skin. I should have definitely gotten more than one, but this brand is such a hit or miss that on second thoughts, I would never know what I was in for!

Cleanser

What I really like about this cleanser is that even if I have very light makeup, this gives me the satisfaction of having done a good job with makeup removal as the tissue comes off clean instead of containing compact powder color on it. The cleanser is really fragrance free like they claim and feels really oil free, unlike the Lakme or the regular cleansing milks available in India.

I usually take a big dollop of it and massage it in circles for about a minute and then wipe it off with tissue.  Then, I do go for a regular face wash with water and lather and it makes me feel squeaky clean, but if I were to use this cleanser even without a followup of face wash, it doesn’t leave skin greasy but leaves it looking brighter and clearer.

Last Word on Simple Kind To Skin Purifying Cleansing Lotion:

I am very happy that I got this by fluke since the face wash from “Simple” was quite a disaster.  It feels very light, water based and leaves skin brighter. I am happy to have spent some 2 GBP on it (around 160 rupees), although I do realize it may not do a good job at removing heavier makeup, but for a simple evening cleansing, it does a great job!
