My Experience with Sinful Colors Pink Forever, Forget Now, Tantalize, Mint Apple, Sail La Vie Nail Polishes:

Packaging: Sinful Colors nail polishes come in a round-shaped sturdy bottle with a black cap. I find the bottle to be a bit bulky and not exactly handy or sleek, but the quantity is pretty good – 15 ml.

Brush Applicator: I found the brush to be okay, nothing special to write about.  It picks up fairly good quantity of the polish and the application was easy too.

Drying Time:  The nail polishes dry pretty fast (around a minute). Even 2 coats dry out fast and I surely did not have to wait for the nail polish to dry before I could get back to my work.

Staying Power:  The staying power is really good and the polish easily stays on my nails for 4-5 days before it starts fading from the top corners of the nails. It does not show any signs of chipping.

Now, for some detailed review of each of the colors:

1. Pink Forever:

This is a bright Barbie pink and all you pink lovers are surely gonna love this. It is slightly blue toned and might not flatter all skin tones.  One coat applies sheer and you need to layer 2 coats to achieve an even finish. I found the formula to be a bit streaky but nothing which is too bothersome. The end result is a glossy creme finish.

2. Forget Now:

I don’t really know what the name “Forget Now” signifies. This is a bright magenta color with shimmer. I like that the shimmer is quite subtle and not in your face. This is a bright festive color and will surely look good paired with traditional Indian dresses.  You need 2 coats to achieve some opacity, but maybe 3 coats is better to completely get rid of a visible nail line. The final finish of the polish is very glossy.

3. Tantalize:

Another one whose name I could not fathom; I mean there is nothing “tantalizing” about this color 😛 This one is a cool grey with subtle silver shimmer. The shimmer is barely discernible and I like that I can wear it to office without being self conscious. Again two coats are a must to achieve an even finish. The end result is a beautiful metallic finish.

4. Mint Apple:

Now, this one has a justifiable name. It is a mint/leaning towards teal color and does remind me of green apples. It has very subtle shimmer which is hardly visible. The shimmer ends up giving a beautiful lustrous finish.  Two coats are needed to achieve an opaque result.

5. Sail La Vie:

I don’t know French but clearly the name has something to do with sailing. And that is an apt name for this beautiful periwinkle blue nail polish which is clearly my favorite of the lot. A lovely color for a bright summer day outing by the beach.  You need 2 coats to achieve opacity. The end result is a glossy crème finish.

To summarize, I like the drying and staying power of these nail polishes. You do need at least 2 coats to achieve the desired opacity, but you get some cool funky colors to wear at an affordable price.
