Today, I will be reviewing a nail polish which is highly affordable and easily available in most drugstores.  It’s Sinful Colors Professionals in the shade – Anemone.

My Experience with Sinful Colors Professional Nail Polish – Anemone:

I am just loving this nail polish so much.  I usually tend to not get drugstore nail polishes as I did not think they lived up to nail polishes from high-end brands like Zoya and Essie, but this nail polish has completely changed my view point as it performs in almost the same manner if not better than high-end polishes at less than half the cost.

The polish comes in a very simple bottle with a black top cap – nothing fancy about it, but it still looks pretty. The brush is a regular round bristle brush which is long enough and thin enough to provide good control while applying the polish. Though I still prefer the flattened brushes that usually come with Sally Hansen polishes as I feel they provide me much better control and coverage in one swipe.

The shade “Anemone” is a gorgeous pastel orange shade which also tends to look a little neon-ish which is such a hot trend right now. This color also tends to look a little reddish orange under different lights as you can see in the pictures. I find this color to be so bright and uplifting and perfect for spring/summer season. It looks incredibly flattering and eye catching paired with my desi skin tone.

The polish goes on completely opaque with one coat, but also goes on a little streaky. With two coats, the streakiness goes away and this also prolongs the wear time. It also goes on incredibly glossy and the glossiness remains for 3-4 days.  A tip I would like to share is that always use a good base and top coat with all your polishes and to prolong the wear time and to reduce chipping of your polish reapply the top coat every 2-3 days.

I was most impressed with the staying power of this polish. I noticed very minimal to no chipping in my 7 days of wearing this. The only reason I wanted to remove it was because the base of nails had started to show.

I am very happy with this product. If you are looking for affordable yet high quality nail polishes, do give this brand a try.
