Today, I will be reviewing a cream from a Korean brand – It’s Skin. I knew about this brand long before I bought this cream, but I don’t know why I was reluctant to purchase this. However, one day I walked into a store and I saw this sitting there and finally said to myself, enough! Let’s get this home. Not to my surprise this cream is amazing!

Apply an adequate amount of product in the hand and gently massage over your face and neck with light circular motions.

My Experience with It’s Skin Collagen Nutrition Cream:

Packaging: The cream comes in a glass tub which is white in colour with a peach-coloured cap over it. The tub has the name of the cream printed over it. The tub comes in cardboard packaging which contains all the information regarding the cream. I don’t even have to write much about the packaging of this cream because the two awards (red dot award 2014 and German design award 2016) that have been given to this cream says all about it. The packaging is sturdy and feels luxurious; however, there is no spatula provided along with the cream to scoop it out ☹

Color: The cream looks a little peachy in the tub when you open it, but when you scoop out the cream, it looks white and after a little blending, it goes completely transparent. This cream is very blend-able and you would require only a little amount to cover your entire face and neck, so this 50 ml tub is going to last a long time.

Texture: The consistency of this cream is thick and you would definitely feel it on your face but because of its blend-able nature it won’t feel uncomfortable on the face at all. It takes about 5 minutes to seep into the skin and after some time, you will have perfectly nourished skin without looking like an oil tank. It has a cold cream kind of fragrance which is soft on the senses and it withers away after few minutes of application.

Effect on skin: I have combination, acne-prone skin and this cream never broke me out. Considering its thick consistency, that came as a surprise to me and this only proves the “skin safety” claim of this cream. However, this cream claims nothing related to acne at all but I would still advice it to the concerned skin type because acne-prone skin is wounded and using harsh products again and again over it would only worsen the condition. Acne-prone skin needs nutrition to strengthen the skin and heal it and this cream provides exactly that.

Results: I have definitely experienced smoothness in my skin after using this cream for a few days; however, to check its elasticity claim, one needs to use it for a longer period. Since I don’t use any makeup on most regular days, I use it during both day and night-time, but if you use a BB cream and you feel that incorporating this product would create many creamy layers on the face, then you can use it only during night time. It doesn’t make my skin oily and I see a beautiful glow on the skin in the morning. My skin looks nourished and very well balanced , so I am really happy with this cream ☺
