I recently bought a few sheet masks from It’s Skin brand, which is one of the best Korean brands available in India. “It’s Skin” has classified the fresh mask sheet into 3 types. This blueberry sheet mask belongs to the rich variant, the other two being light and medium.

My Experience with It’s Skin The Fresh Mask Sheet Blueberry:
This fresh sheet mask types have 10 variants and “blueberry” is one of them. The sheet mask comes in a typical sheet packaging. On opening the package, the sheet mask was drenched in serum. The serum was a milky white liquid. All the sheet masks in the “Rich” variant have milky serum. The smell of the serum is just like blueberry ice cream, or you could call it plain blueberry essence. I loved the fragrance of this product more than the mask itself.
The sheet mask was not placed between any other layer. It was easy to unfold it and place on the face. The sheet mask was made of cotton, similar to most basic masks, but since this had a thick serum, it felt even thicker when placed on the skin.
I left the mask for 20 minutes and the sheet had become less wet in that time. I removed the mask and patted the remaining serum on the face. The serum took a long time to get absorbed, and left a layer on the skin. Even when it got absorbed fully, the skin felt tacky and if you are someone who uses sheet masks during day time, you might feel like washing it off. It is better to use it for night time. Also, I won’t recommend using this mask underneath makeup.
Coming to the effectiveness of the mask, it did hydrate my skin well and it had to with all that thick serum it had! But, apart from moisturizing my face, and the pleasant perfumed odour that lasted for the whole 20 minutes, I cannot say it helped with anything else. It is not a miracle product, but one among the many sheet masks that we face.
Pros of It’s Skin The Fresh Mask Sheet Blueberry:
- Moisturizes well.
- Very good for dry skin.
- The fit of the mask was good.
- It has a nice fragrance.
Cons of It’s Skin The Fresh Mask Sheet Blueberry:
- Apart from the basic effect of all the masks out there, I couldn’t find anything else. It is good to be used when you need an immediate boost of moisture.
- The serum is tacky even after getting fully absorbed.
- Not good to use when you are planning to go out, and not to be used under makeup.
- It will be a little heavy (as the name implies ‘rich’) for oily skin.

Would I Recommend It’s Skin The Fresh Mask Sheet Blueberry?
It is fun to try out different masks, but if you don’t see any effect, then it is good to move on. I won’t recommend this mask to oily skin people. They should try out the other variants with watery essence.
