It’s Skin Propolis was not among the original 10 releases of Power 10 by the brand. It was later released along with SYN-AKE variant and both of them are the special additions to the effector series, and they cost a bit more than the original ones. Let’s get into the detailed review.

My Experience with It’s Skin Power 10 Formula Propolis:

I purchased two products from the Korean brand It’s Skin 5 months back for skin healing and treating acne scars. One was the WH effector, and the other is this product.

This product contains Honey extract and Propolis as the main ingredient. It also contains glycerine and Niacinamide. The propolis extract helps with skin inflammation and also in skin repair. For those of you who don’t know, Propolis is also a product of Honey Bees. It is formed with bees wax, bee saliva and sap. Because of all the wonderful ingredients, I could not resist myself from buying it.

This product comes in a small 30 ml glass bottle with a dropper. This bottle is quite transparent compared to the other effector bottles. The dropper comes in handy for usage.

With all the propolis and honey extract, I expected the product to be brown in colour. But, the product is actually white in colour. It is watery and is very easy to spread. It gets absorbed easily too. It dries to a matte finish, though it gives good amount of hydration to the skin.

The product is good to be used before your regular serums. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin at all. I have been using this product for 3 months, and I have just reached half the bottle. I have been using it once a day regularly, and it will last for many more months too.

Coming to the effect of this product, it gives a good amount of hydration to the skin. When I used this product on active acne, it helped sooth the acne and the skin surrounding it. It doesn’t promise miracles, and it does what it is supposed to – hydration and soothing care.

Also, when I used it at night, I definitely felt the difference the next day. My skin was brighter and looked even toned the next day. But, when I used it during day time, I could never see any difference. But, this essence is suitable for morning usage without the heaviness and greasiness of the skin. It goes well under makeup too. Also, this product delivered the same effect for the 3 months I have been using it. The difference I noticed on my first week is what I can notice till now.

I cannot vouch for the anti-aging claims because, you will see the results of these products only when you see delayed aging in 30s and 40s. Also, it certainly didn’t help with pores because, you cannot minimize or maximize the pore size.

Overall, it is a decent product with awesome ingredients. If you are looking to add Propolis in your routine, you can give this a try. Also, compared to the other Propolis products out there, it is one of the cheaper alternatives, and one bottle will last for months.

Not a miracle working product. Beneficial as an add-on product to your skincare routine.

I will recommend this to anyone who wants to add selected products to your routine. It is not an all-in-one skincare product and if you are using this alone, it won’t show result.
