Today, I will be reviewing a sheet mask from the South Korean brand “It’s Skin.” To know more about this product and how it fared for me, read on further.

How To Use:
After washing the face, apply toner to prepare the next step of skincare. Open the pouch, take out the mask and evenly place it on the face, except for the skin around the eyes and mouth. Remove the sheet after 15-20 minutes, and gently pat for better absorption.
My Experience with It’s Skin Tea Tree Balance Mask Sheet:
The sheet mask comes housed in a small pouch lined with aluminium on the inside. This ensures that the nutritive value of the sheet mask is preserved. The size of the pouch is significantly smaller than the Innisfree Real Squeeze masks and the Face Shop sheet masks. However, most of the information is written in Korean. An English label at the back provides information such as ingredients, directions for usage, price etc. It also has illustrations on the back depicting the properties of tea tree and the cushion sheet mask.
The sheet mask itself seems quite similar to the Innisfree and Face Shop ones. It was not especially soft as the name suggests. The sheet mask fit almost perfectly on my face and didn’t slip off. There was quite a lot of essence remaining inside the pouch which can be used for other areas of the body. It has a very mild fragrance which goes away a while after application.
I was interested in trying a new sheet mask brand and found this one. Although I like the fact that more and more brands with natural skincare products such as Innisfree, the Face Shop and It’s Skin are becoming readily available in India at affordable prices, I would prefer that Indian skincare brands also come up with their version of sheet masks that cater to the Indian skin and climate.
Coming to the application of this sheet mask, I used it on a day when my skin was feeling quite oily even though I had only applied an oil-free serum. I have never tried a product enriched with tea tree, so I was curious to try this one out. When I removed the sheet mask from my face, it felt plump and soft. The more noticeable effect was that my skin didn’t feel oily or clogged. It felt incredibly hydrated. The tea tree had balanced out the oils on my skin while providing moisture and nourishment. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the product.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend It’s Skin Tea Tree Balance Mask Sheet?
Yes to both, this is a good mask that will help balance the excess oil on the face without stripping the skin of essential moisture. I would recommend this to people with oily and combination skin. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that it contains added fragrance.
