1. Learn Your Basics:
The skin on the face is always collecting gunk from the polluted air and dust, which results to accumulated dead skin and eventually clogged pores. When it comes to skin, always invest in high quality products. Use a gentle cleanser to remove dead skin cells and to unclog your pores, which will also prevent unwanted acne. Use a cleanser formulated for oily skin type. Using a alcohol-free toner after cleansing and it will tighten your pores and keeps oil at bay. You can use toners with natural extracts like rose water, green tea, neem, cucumber or lemon as this will ensure your skin pH level is balanced. End your skin care routine with a good oil-free moisturiser.

Massaging you skin will improve the blood circulation and will brighten the skin tone. You can use massage creams, massage gel for the procedure. • Honey and Lemon Mask: Mix one tablespoon of honey with 2 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice. Apply the mixture and gently massage using your finger tips. Let it stay for 20-30 minutes, rinse off with cold water. Lemon juices helps to remove excess oil, dirt buildup and has antibacterial properties whereas honey fights the bacteria which causes acne. It also soothes and rejuvenates the skin.(Use raw/organic honey)
• Gram Flour Mask: official Indian mask (tried and tested by Priyanka Chopra) Mix 2 tablespoon of gram flour with 1 tablespoon curd. Make a thick paste, add more yogurt if required to make a thick consistency. Apply the paste all over the face and neck area. Let it stay for 30 minutes. Wash it off with water and pat dry.
4. Pamper Your Skin:

This is why it’s is important to shed off these dead skin cells by gentle exfoliation. Use a gentle exfoliate and use it not more than once a week. Over exfoliating can again irritate the skin. You could also try natural coffee scrub, recipe given below.
1 tablespoon coffee grounds (use fresh grounded coffee)
1 tablespoon yogurt
• Mix the coffee grounds and yogurt together and gently scrub your face for two to three minutes.
• Leave it on for about 10 minutes and rinse off with cold water.
7. Don’t Skip Your Sunscreen:
Sun exposure causes the skin to produce more melanin and hence darken the skin. Sun is also the biggest cause of premature fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and dark spots. Oily skin women usually tend to skip the sunscreen as it produces more oil. Use a sunscreen which is gel based. This way your skin will be protected from the skin without the greasy oily look.
Tip: Don’t forget to reapply your sunscreen after every 3 hours. Use a facial wipe to remove dirt from the surface of the skin and apply a generous coat of sunscreen.
8. Opt for Skin Juices:
Juices are a very important aspects of glowing skin and is usually underrated. This beauty regime is adopted by our Bollywood divas, and who knows better than them?? Introduce your skin to juice regime and your skin will thank you for it! Best juices for glowing skin are beetroot-pomegranate juice, orange-amla juice, carrot juice, tomato juice-ginger juice.
Tip: Avoid packed juices as it is loaded with preservatives, food colours and lots of sugar. Fresh juices work best for glowing skin.
