Skinetics Foaming Face Wash Review

Skinetics Foaming Face wash Review

Hello Ladies ,Hope you are all doing good!
Skinetics face wash was recommended by my dermatologist due to my acne problem. My cheeks are dry whereas my T zone is way too much oily and he said Skinetics face wash would be perfect for me. I was surprised to see it was by Fem, I didn’t even know Fem had this product. And the same time I was scared because I never thought of Fem as a skincare brand and I didn’t even know if I could trust on that product. But when I consulted my dermatologist again, he told me that Skinetics face wash is by Fem pharmaceuticals, and that I wouldn’t regret using it and well I certainly don’t.

skinetics face wash

Price: 120 INR for 50ml
Key Ingredients: Tea Tree Oil, ChlorhexidineGluconate, Sida Plant Extracts
Though Skinetics face wash is medicated, it’s very mild, I am completely in love with it =) Also, my cousin told me she has been using Skinetics for an year now and she completely loves it.

Skinetics is a foaming face wash, you press the pump and the green liquid gets converted into white foam. I am still trying to figure out how; anyone with explanation is welcome 😉 You only need a very small amount every time. The ingredients mentioned Tea tree and certain other chemicals, if you are expecting something herbal by seeing the green colour then girls this is not for you. I have suffered so much with acne that now I will go to any extends to get rid of it.

I have been using Skinetics face wash in the most humid season, when my T zone used to produce gallons and gallons of oil, but now I don’t have any problem like that. My face is oil free for at least 4-5 hours, not even one single drop of oil. I am so thoroughly impressed by Skinetics face wash that I think I have found my HG face wash now, there is nothing that can take me away from it. About the acne reducing claim, I can’t say how effective it is because I am already on oral medication for acne, but it does do the work by keeping my skin oil free, that way preventing further acne.

    1. My friend uses the Saslic facewash Shaili, her derma recommended her that and she really loves it 🙂 But she has completely oily skin ,it would have been too drying for me :silly:
You do ask your derma about it 🙂

      1. yup Saslic indeed worked like anything for stubborn acne on my forehead but this salicylic ”acid” thing scared me..so after 3 months of usage i discontinued it, i even underwent microdermabrasion n some oral pills during the course of my treatment..now my cousin z facing the same prob..so me ll take her 🙂

actually i had very dry skin, but now i see that my T-zone is getting oilier nowadays…
so this can be a very good facewash for me.. but i am in two minds… your derma recommended this, so it means it does have some medicinal things…
    kya karu? :methinks:

    1. If it wasnt mild enough to be used by everybody I wouldnt have reviewed it here Gini :)) I even asked my derma about this beforehand . All the other things I am using that my derma recommended strictly say that they cannot be sold without prescription but this one can definitely be used 🙂
