Today’s review is all about Skinfood Everyday Quinoa Facial Mask Sheet. Let’s see how it fared for me!
Product Description and Ingredients:
My Experience with Skinfood Everyday Quinoa Facial Mask:
Skinfood Everyday Quinoa Facial Mask Sheet comes in a vintage style packaging. I really like the packaging since it gives vintage vibes. The main ingredient’s picture is printed on the front, and the name of the sheet mask is written in bold fonts. The back has all other details about the product. The packaging is very simple, neat and clean, which I love. It is super sleek so, you can travel with it easily.
It is a white colored thick mask. This sheet mask is thicker than all the sheet masks that I have used till date. It is made out of cotton and has patterns all over it. It is soaking wet in the serum, but not overly wet. The serum isn’t watery or gel-like, but it is a lotion-like milky serum.
The serum has a pleasant floral smell, the kind of floral fragrance, which I love. I really like its fresh fragrance. The serum also has a lotion-like fragrance to it. It’s just a very calming and soothing fragrance, and no wonder, I love it. The serum isn’t sticky but, it gets absorbed quickly into the skin.
Since the sheet mask is thicker, it is slightly difficult to apply it on the face, but once you get the hang of it, you are sorted. On application, it sits comfortably on the skin. It doesn’t move or irritate the skin and is very gentle. It feels great when you use the mask after you have let it in the fridge for some time.
Each mask is based on a super food, and there are about 10 variants. I picked up all the 10, because, why not? 🙂 This one is a quinoa (pronounced as key-nuu-aa/keen-uuaa) based mask, and we all know, there is a sudden quinoa obsession over the past few years. Quinoa is a wonder grain for improving one’s skin and gives a lot of benefits. It helps in healing your skin, improves elasticity, tones up the skin and also helps in fighting the signs of ageing.
My skin looked dull so, I thought of using this mask. Like its claims, this sheet mask made my skin look fresh and rejuvenated. After usage, my skin looked a lot better as the mask got rid of all the dullness. It added a lot of moisture back into my skin and made it supple. I could actually see a difference before and after using this sheet mask.
The mask dries up in 20 minutes and, I let the excess serum sit on my skin for another 20 minutes and then, I wash my face with plain water. My skin feels refreshed, moisturised and hydrated almost instantly, which is why I opt for sheet masks. They do give results that don’t last longer, but that’s okay.
