My Experience with Skinfood Peach and Seed Jelly Body Scrub:

Skinfood peach and seed jelly body scrub comes in an easy to squeeze, chubby tube packaging with a flip top. The flip top opens with a little pressure and closes with a click preventing any spillage. The tube is quite bulky and I wouldn’t term it as travel friendly. However, with this tube, there is no spillage. The name of the product is written in the front of the tube and all the other information is provided at the back of the tube. Overall, the packaging is convenient to use.

The consistency of the body scrub is medium and jelly-like but not kind of wiggling one. It has a rough and gritty texture because of apricot kernels. The scrub is moderate in terms of exfoliating particles. It is neither too mild nor harsh. It is perfectly balanced and can be used more than twice a week.

This body scrub has a mild fragrance which doesn’t last after the shower. The fragrance is so mild that sometimes I am able to sniff it while using in the shower. Liking or disliking any scent in a personal opinion, but I definitely like the scent.

I use this twice or thrice a week as suggested by the brand itself. To use this scrub, sometimes I directly apply over the moist skin while other times I add water so that it lathers a bit. When the body scrub comes in contact with water, it lathers pretty well. Also, while massaging over the moist skin, it lather just like a body wash. The particles are tiny in size and I really like their effect while using it.

While massaging it over the skin, it lathers very well while providing exfoliation. It cleanses the skin perfectly and buffs off the flaky skin. The regular exfoliating session helps in keeping off the dead skin cells. It is easy to rinse off but leaves a thin film behind which keeps the skin moisturized. Post shower, my skin feels smoother and softer. The scrub also adds subtle radiance to the body. The exfoliating particles never irritated the skin or caused any redness or bumps.

The main purpose of using body scrub is to make the skin ready for epilating session and to treat ingrown hair in between waxing and epilating sessions. I often opt for epilating because then I don’t have to go to parlors and it gives long-lasting results like waxing. However, I have coarser hair that tends to break during epilating and waxing, and leads to ingrown hair. This body scrub does the work of treating ingrown hair effectively. Also, the regular use of a body exfoliator helps in preventing ingrown hair.

On the other note, the scrub is quite moisturizing. I have dry back and do not feel the need to apply lotion soon after the shower.

Overall, I really like this 2-in-1 scrub which is effective in cleansing the skin deeply while exfoliating it. Although it not a must have, but you may try this one out.
