I’m back to the bandwagon with yet another review. Today’s product is a women’s shave gel (yes, you heard it right, it’s a shave gel). Most Indian women shy away from the fact of shaving their legs and arms. There could be various reasons to it. Some don’t like it for the fact that hair grows back faster and thicker and some are just too scared to use the razor fearing nicks and cuts. On the other hand few women just take the help of razor to be hair free all the time. I fall in the later category as my skin is too sensitive for waxing and also winters add up more to make my skin even drier and flaky with the tugging and pulling of the wax strips.

Directions: Wet area to be shaved. Dispense onto fingers, or directly on the area to be shaved. Gently rub over skin to produce a rich, luxurious lather. Shave. Rinse off skin after shaving.

My take on Skintimate Moisturizing Shave Gel In Raspberry Rain:

I absolutely love this product. It comes as a thick pink color gel and gives a very rich lather when rubbed on the skin and helps to glide the razor very smoothly and gently over the skin. My skin doesn’t feel the harshness of the blades. I never ever had any cuts or nicks when I started using the shave gels. The gel smells very fruity and leaves a nice fragrance on the skin. Using a shave gel gives a much closer and neater shave and the skin feels very soft and hair free without any tiny hair still sticking out and I also feel that the hair doesn’t grow back as fast as it does with the regular shave. I sometimes don’t have to use a moisturizer too which adds up to the goodness.

• Some people may not like the process of shaving. This is definitely not a con for the product.
• As the product comes in a steel container, it tends to get rusted if exposed to water a lot and not suitable to store in the shower tub. ( Just clean the bottle after every use and store it in a dry cabinet)
• Bigger containers are not travel friendly due to TSA rules and regulations.
