My Experience with Sleek Makeup Dazzling Black Flick It Eyeliner:

The eyeliner came in a black carton that had some details given on it. The eyeliner looks classic and elegant. The cap sure is sturdy as it shuts in place. It is travel friendly.  The felt tip looks thick, but I guess thin lines can be achieved. So, that sums up the nice things that I have to say about it. The worst part begins here and there’s no end to it. It was a huge disappointment to me from a brand that I had very high expectations from.

The moment I open the cap, the tip totally dries out, like literally! I did not even get a chance to swatch it decently, forget wearing it on eyelids. So, I assumed this was a defective piece that I had received and randomly checked out reviews on this. Many had the same complaints as mine while some had a positive experience. I wonder if there is some problem with a particular batch of these eyeliners.

The pen refuses to spill out any liquid from it, the moment the cap is opened, it dries out totally in a nano-second. I really don’t know if only I am facing this issue or if the pen is really defective! At first, I thought I was using it wrong only to realize it is born like that! 😛

I did not know what to do with it, so I added a few drops of my eye drops to the tip and kept it in the inverted position for a whole day. I opened it the next day and quickly managed to swipe it on my eye. Even with all that effort, I could do just one eye and not the other. I couldn’t swatch it also! No amount of pressure helps. It gives a beautiful glossy finish that I love, I just wish the liquid came out and I’d use it like mad!

This eyeliner lasts for about two hours on my oily lids, and then it starts to flake. First of all, it is hardly black and then with all the flaking, nothing remains. I just do not know how to put this one to use! If anybody can suggest any tips that can be tried, I’d be really glad to welcome them as I am terribly disappointed and regret the decision of purchasing this eyeliner.

• The liquid refuses to come out.
• The tip dries in a matter of seconds.
• When some of the liquid finally comes out, it fails to go on smooth.
• Staying power is not that good.
• Starts to flake after 2 hours.
• Pigmentation is just average, not intense black.
• Price is slightly on the higher side.
• Not waterproof.
• Contains parabens.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Sleek Makeup Dazzling Black Flick It Eyeliner?

I don’t know about other shades, but you can give this shade a pass. Big time fail for me.
