Sleek Makeup Life’s a Peach Blush Review

Hello Beautiful Ladies,

Whenever I buy something new it is always in pair and the same happened with sleek blushes. I wanted to try Sleek blushes since a very long time, but I had no source to get them, but when I saw them available online ready to be shipped to India I ordered 2 blushes and many other products. The two colors I brought were Pixie Pink and Life’s a Peach. Both the colors are entirely different from each other. While Pixie is a bright pink, Life’s a Peach is a beautiful peach. The name given to the blushes matches the shades perfectly. Today the shade I have for you is Life’s a Peach.

Description:

Our blushers are long lasting and highly pigmented available in a variety of finishes. Each shade glides on smoothly and enables you to create an array of stunning looks. We offer a wide range of shades to complement any skin tone, no matter the occasion.

My Take on Sleek Makeup Life’s a Peach Blush:

Packaging: Just like the company name, the packaging of the products is also Sleek. The blush comes in a sleek rectangular packaging, which is completely black. The blush is pretty easy to open, but if you have long nails, they can initially cause a problem while opening the lid. The bottom of the lid has a mirror which sometimes come in handy while doing touch ups. The blush does not have any brush or any other kind of applicator. I am not really disappointed with this, as even if it would have been there, I would have not used it.

Color: Life’s a Peach as the name clearly says is a peach colored blush. The blush seems to be very orangey in the pan, but when applied to the cheeks it gives a very natural peach glow to the skin. The blush is completely free of any kind of shimmers, which makes this appropriate for daily use.

Pigmentation: Unfortunately the pigmentation of this particular shade is not too amazing. It needs 3-4 coats to make the color visible to the skin and if you have a darker skin tone then it might not even show up on you. But fortunately, the color is buildable. 3-4 coats can be applied without making it look chalky.

Texture: The blush is very soft and silky to use. It does not feel heavy on the skin and blends really well to give a flawless finish.

Staying Power: The blush stays for a decent amount of time. It does not have a great staying power, but it is not either bad. The blush can stay upto 3 hours (if 3-4 coats are applied), but with lesser number of coats, the color might not even be initially visible forget about it staying for a long time.

Overall, I would say that this is a decent blush with a beautiful color and quality and looks really beautiful on the face, but its pigmentation and lesser staying power makes it little less as compared to some other blushes from the brand.

Pros of Sleek Makeup Life’s a Peach Blush:

  • Nice sturdy packaging (might be little difficult to open initially, but this becomes better after some use).
  • Comes with a mirror.
  • Beautiful everyday color.
  • Easy to blend.
  • Soft and silky texture.
  • Decent price.

Cons of Sleek Makeup Life’s a Peach Blush:

  • Color might not show up on ladies with a darker skin tone.
  • Not so amazing pigmentation.
  • Not so good staying power.

Would I repurchase Sleek Makeup Life’s a Peach Blush?

I would love to buy some other shades from the Sleek blush collection, but I am not very happy with this shade and hence I will not buy this one again.

Would I recommend Sleek Makeup Life’s a Peach Blush?

No! I do recommend the brand, but I will not recommend this particular shade, as there are many other peach blushes available in the market with better pigmentation.
