I like to spend my free time by entertaining myself browsing makeup and beauty sites 😛 A few days back, I was browsing Sleek Makeup’s website ( FYI- they have come up with new face contour kits and other new goodies) and came across this foundation. I have combination skin and the moment I read words like “Oil-free”,”matte” and “shine-free,” I was in for the game. Suddenly, I forgot about the other foundations crowding my vanity and ended up ordering this one. Let’s see whether it’s a hit or a miss.
Crème to Powder Foundation provides a super-smooth finish, with medium-to-full coverage that is perfect for concealing dark circles and blemishes. Available in 30 shades (Are you kidding me???).

My Experience with Sleek Makeup Oil Free Creme To Powder Foundation:
The packaging is typical black, no fuss kind of packaging which is an exact copy of MAC’s “Studio-fix powder,” which by the way is my HG. I like such kind of simple packaging with sponge at the bottom or top and hate twisted packaging, remember Maybelline’s Dream Matte Powder!!!Well, coming back to the review, I didn’t use the sponge because its there just for the sake it. It is not of good quality, forget good quality, its not even average quality. The coverage is amazing and I can easily use this as a concealer to hide some pimple spots here and there.
It evens out my face quickly with very little amount of product. There is no funny smell. The staying power of this foundation is also very good, say about 10 -12 hours easily. It doesn’t oxidize and proved to be a long-wearing makeup product. The only thing I don’t like is the blending ability.
I used it with the best of my brushes, but of no use!! Ultimately, my hands came to my rescue and I believe the warmth of my hands warmed up the product and it blended well. It doesn’t give a complete matte effect to my face, I still need to powder my T-zone to set it perfectly!
Pros of Sleek Makeup Oil Free Creme To Powder Foundation:
- Amazing shade selection.
- Has SPF of 15 (better than no SPF at all).
- Good for oily and combination skin.
- Good staying power.
- No need of a concealer, yay!
- No funny smell.
- Covers well.
Cons of Sleek Makeup Oil Free Creme To Powder Foundation:
- Bad blending ability.
- Pathetic sponge applicator.
Will I Repurchase Sleek Makeup Oil Free Creme To Powder Foundation?
No, it will last a long time as a little goes a long way. I will suggest people with oily skin to give this a try. Sleek is giving good quality for less price, as always. If anybody is looking for shade reference, I keep swaying between NC-30 to NC-35 and shade “Sand“ is a good match!!
