Sleek makeup offers its lipsticks in two ranges – ‘Sheer Cover’ and “True Colour.”
I bought a true colour one. These lipsticks come in 20 beautiful shades. Also, within true colour range they have 2 Finishes- SHEEN and MATTE. The collection is made up of great vibrant and warm colours. I wanted to check their quality first, so I got just 1 shade, CANDY CANE which is sheen finish.

Sleek lipsticks come in sturdy, simple, oval tube like, black casing which is matte black…. It has the same rubberised finish like most MAC and NARS products. The lipstick may seem considerably smaller than average lipsticks when you first see the packaging, but when you roll out the lipstick, it looks pretty decent.
About the Shade Candy Cane:
It’s somewhere between pink, coral and red, ike a deep watermelon shade.
Its more of pinky coral I would suggest than reddish coral.
I have slightly pink lips, so it looks like an absolute neon pink on me.

My Verdict on The Sleek True Colour (Sheen) Lipstick:
I got this lipstick around 2 months back along with the oh-so-special palette and rose gold blush.
Sleek seems to be more recognised for their eyeshadow palettes (and off late, their pout polishes) more than any of their other products.
Since, I am very fond of trying different brands in makeup, I thought of including a lipstick too in my order. However, it was tough to determine the true shade of the lipstick, as there is no proper/clear visual representation of the shades on the sleek website. So, I picked up this shade on random.
The lipstick has very good pigmentation, I got decent amount of colour in a single swipe and it gives absolutely opaque coverage with 2-3 swipes. They leave your lips with a beautiful sheen ( not shine).
The formula is creamy and moisturising, and I can easily skip lip balm application underneath these. It gets applied easily on the lips leaving them soft and smooth.
The lipstick has no chemical like/rubbery/cheap lipstick smell which is a major plus point in my opinion as I simply detest lipsticks (or any other cosmetic) with smells/fragrance.
The staying power is about 2-3 hours after which they fade out leaving your lips tinted.
Overall, I liked the lipstick a lot and would definitely consider buying more shades from the sheen range and matte range too.

The shade is very similar to a lipstick I have from maybelline but this is obviously more pigmented. How do you get such nice colours just by looking at the swatch ? You should open a side buisness of personal internet shopper 😀 😀
