Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara Review

Greetings to dramatic lash ladies!!!

This is my first Smasbox product. I have tried several expensive mascaras on my religious trips to Ulta and Sephora, but never bought any of those because drugstore mascaras give the same result. Recently, I got this Smashbox mascara, so keep reading to know if it lives up to the exaggerated claims that the brand makes.

My Experience with Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara:

Packaging:  Cylindrical, shiny black tube with a twist-up cap. The spooly brush is the usual type except it has a dome at the end but appears rather dense like a coniferous tree. It picks up a lot of product in one pumping motion and I have to remove the excess least my lashes clump together.

Texture:  It’s not very liquid-y or wet, but rather has a very thick consistency – something that would hold on to my lashes and give it a lift and volume. It, however, does not make them look clumpy or tacky and leave a mascara goop behind.

Pigmentation:  To get the desired result as claimed by the product, one needs to apply multiple coats, but even so, it gets the job done. It gives extra dark, voluminous, thick lashes which we all covet.

Application:  Remove the extra product off of the spooly and apply from the root up – use the usual wiggle motion to get a neat, natural yet voluminous like false lash look.

Staying Power:  Entire day and has minimal fallout. It is waterproof and sweat proof and stays in place till I remove with a good makeup remover.

Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara

I really like this mascara, it gave volume to my lashes, a nice lift and life to my eyes and made my eyes appear awake. It claims to give 104% increase in lash volume and 32% increase in lash length and hence they should give a tiny scale to measure lashes because otherwise there is no other way to find out the exact number but technicalities apart it does give an awesome appearance to my lashes.

Would I Repurchase Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara?
No, because it is way too expensive for a mascara but all those mascara hoarders with no qualms about spending some extra bucsk on a mascara should give a fair shot to this product.
