Smith & Vandiver Aromatherapaes Geranium & Orange Toning Face Mud Review

The summer season calls for a different skin care routine that must include more face masks and sunscreen. I have dry skin issues and some oiliness in the cheeks and because of that I am having some large pores that look uncomfortable up close. I found a face mask recently that was so good in eliminating this problem, that I always keep a few pack of this mask with me. So today, I would be reviewing the Geranium and orange toning face mud from Smith & Vandiver.

How to use:
Apply generously to clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Let dry & rinse well. Use weekly.

Price and Quantity: $2.49 for a single use pack.

Packaging:
The face mask comes in a single use pouch but the amount is so generous, that I have used it 3 times with awesome results. Storing the pouch is an issue but I usually store them in a zip-lock bag in the fridge.

My Experience With Smith & Vandiver Aromatherapaes Geranium & Orange Toning Face Mud:

I shall be honest that I was not expecting any kind of miracles from this mask as I picked it up for travel use and for using in between my regular skincare routine. There were 6 variants from this brand and I picked up 2 considering my skin type.

The packaging is simple and take very less space. The mud is very thick in consistency and dries up into a clay on the skin. I applied a generous layer on my face avoiding the eye area and let it dry to a clay form. It did tingle a bit in the beginning but died off eventually.

The smell is very relaxing as it’s infused with essential oils. When the mask dries off, it pulls out oils from the pores and shrinks the size of pores dramatically. I wash off with warm water and pat dry and apply the face moisturizer. The after feel of my skin is just out of a spa feel…believe me I am not exaggerating. The skin become so firm and supple and there is a glow that remains for 2-3 days. I am so glad to have found this which is paraben free, vegan and not tested on animals.
