  1. Hi ravia
    Fabindia has some good tea
and you can try a simple smoothening process at the salon, this really helps me keep my hair straight in the chennai weather

  2. use lukewarm castor oil before you shampoo your hair. Castor oil really helps to tame frizz. Also let your hair dry naturally-the more you will rub with towel the more frizz you will have.
You can try loreal ka liss ultimate serum-i have been using it from past 4 years, it makes my hair straight(to some point), controls frizz and makes hair manageable:)
    Hope this helps 🙂

  3. Hello ravia,

Follow this method, Your hair will be soft and shiny after use this hair mask—

For Medium length of hair—— You need—-

    3-4 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
    2-3Tablespoon of Honey
2-3Tablespoon of your regular Hair Conditioner

Mix them well and apply this from hair root to tip…Cover your head with a plastic shower cap/poly bag and take a Hot Towel Therapy for 10mins……Keep it for another 20-30 mins and wash off with water and use shampoo and conditioner ….. It gives a Super Duper Shine and softness to your hair ….Its also Straighten your frizzy hair….

  4. All I would suggest is good oiling for frizzy hair.I too have frizzy hair and especially at the front its damnnn.. frizzy and dry.Try to oil your hair regularly and also give your hair hot towel treatment.Do not use very hot water for washing your hair as it worsens the frizz. You can try making your own hair oil with coconut oil as the base and add castor, almond and olive oil to it.
Last but not the least keep your hair covered from outside dust and pollution, this would really help in the long run…. Hope this helps 🙂

    1. *thankyou* Rashmi
I usually oil my hair twice a week, but never tried hot towel treatment. Will give it a try for sure 🙂 *pigtail*

  5. To control frizz, I follow these steps:

    1. Oil ( olive/coconut/castor/badam) hair the night before. You can alternate between these oils for each wash.

    2. Deep condition with hair masks one hour before wash. I alternate between henna+curd+egg, methi seeds paste + egg, coconut milk and any store bought deep conditioner masks too if the time is tight. Keep a shower cap after applying the mask for one hour and remove before wash. You can even wrap a heated towel instead if the cap for 10-15 mins on the hair. This allows opening of pores on scalp and thus the mask penetrates better.

    3. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo with warm water.

    4. Use a good conditioner

    5. Rinse with cold water and use a light leave-in conditioner.

    6. Wrap a soft cotton t shirt on your wet hair. Avoid towels other than cotton for this because they promote frizz when contacted with hair. Don’t touch your hair with your hands till dry. Remove the t shirt after it absorbs the dripping water and apply little serum and let the hair air dry.

Use of all these steps without a miss reduces frizz to a great extent.

    1. wow… *woot*
I am definately gona follow this routine … *thankyou* Tanvi for your valuable advise 🙂 🙂

  6. Ravia I prefer aloe vera because it is all natural. Apply aloe vera gel on hair and after 20minute rinse with normal water you can see difference and one more you should use silken pillow it will work to silken your hair.
