Snowflakes Inspired Eye of the Day

Hey cuties! I’m writing this article after a long gap from my previous one; was sick because of the cold *cough cough* but now I’m back and, by the way, all the nice articles here at IMBB really kept me entertained and informed at the same time πŸ™‚ great work gals πŸ˜€

This eye look is inspired by the snowflakes or the light-flakes I’m seeing decorated all over here; this look according to me will be great with blue jeans.

The first step is to apply a primer on your lids. As this is a frosty look, I’m applying bare study paint pot by MAC.

Then take a blue eyeshadow – can be dark or light blue depending on the occasion or preference. I’m using a turquoise e/s here coz it was the only one visible on the cam :(. Apply it all over the lid up to the crease.

Kindly ignore my eyebrows, havent got the energy to have them done πŸ˜‰

Then take a frosty white eyeshadow- MAC’s ricepaper would work great here but I’m using the one from my kit.

Swipe the white color all across the lid and also blend it a bit in your crease. we don’t want to create a cat-eyed shape or anything- just blend the white on the blue- this creates a frosty effect.

After you blend the white properly over the blue- it will look somewhat like this:

Also apply the shadow under the lower lash line with a flat shader brush. Actually a blue liner might also look great here.

Then take a light shimmery butter colored eyeshadow and use it as a highlight under your brow-bone and in the inner corner of the eyes. You can also use ur regular highlighter powder.

And here’s the final eye look after lash-n-line πŸ™‚

EyeFor the rest of the face I’ve used maybelline dream mousse blush in soft plum and on the lips I’ve used lakme 9 to 5 lip color in terracotta (thats the only one I found tolerable in that collection :() and glamour lip gloss by smashbox- it’s a nude lippie….

and so here’s the final look πŸ˜€

As I said before this looks great with Denim. And it looks even better if you use a lighter shade of blue. I had applied a light shade so that just a hint of blue peeks out but the damn camera washed out all the colors :((

Hope u all like this look and do let me know if anyone recreates it….

Thanks gals!

Stay blessed,

BeeNii.
