Hope you are all doing great. Today, I am going to review the last animal mask that I purchased from the Korean brand SNP (Shining Nature Purity), it is their “Animal Otter Aqua Mask Sheet”. So, let’s see how this one fared for me.

This unique and adorably cute face mask delivers superior hydration to dry, flaky skin with its rich blend of baobab extract and hyaluronic acid. This makes the skin more supple and healthy-looking while also providing its proper nutritional needs. This mask also contains Lotus extract which helps soothe and calm dry, irritated skin. Dry skin is usually prone to daily damage that’s why this mask also provides an extra layer of moisture to protect the skin against daily exposure from UV rays, airborne chemicals and pollution.
How to use – After washing, prepare for mask treatment and tone skin by moisturizing your skin. Wear the mask, follow the cutting leaving the eyes and mouth. Leave the mask 10 to 20 minutes and take it off. Massage and dab the face gently let the essence absorb into skin cells well.

My Experience with SNP Animal Otter Aqua Mask Sheet:

SNP stands for Shining Nature Purity and it is a Korean brand which specializes in sheet masks. They are quite famous for their animal sheet masks. Animal masks are nothing but a regular sheet mask which has designs of different animal faces, like a dragon, panda, otter, and tiger.

For a change, these masks contain different colors, unlike the regular sheet masks. For example, the tiger mask is yellow in colour, the panda mask is black and white and this otter mask is in blue and white color. These masks look so adorable and pretty. Now, following this bandwagon, other Korean brands are also introducing character masks. Recently, I spotted some new Disney characters mask from The Face Shop.

This Otter Aqua Mask comes packaged in a royal blue cover with a cute cartoon otter on the front. The back side of the cover contains the usage details and other details in Korean. The packaging is cute and bright. All the animal masks of SNP are made up of coconut water for an immediate calming and moisturizing effect.

The highly enriched essence helps in providing the skin with enough moisture to stay healthy. Coconut water is said to be rich in electrolytes and minerals; moreover, it is a good moisturizer and helps to replenish dehydrated skin with help of its amino acids, when applied topically for a longer time. The otter mask is pretty thin and depicts a sea otter with blue face and a white and black nose.

The colors used in these animal masks are also natural and masks do not contain any synthetic dyes. The fit of the mask is perfect without tugging or pulling. The mask was almost soaking wet in essence and there is more than enough left-over essence to cover neck and arms, etc. with it. I cleaned the face and put on the mask for about 20 minutes. When I removed the mask, there was still some serum left which I massaged into my skin.

This Otter Mask has a subtle lovely smell to it, unlike the other animal masks, which is a pleasant surprise. I really love the texture of the essence of this mask, it is really moisturizing and absorbs fast into the skin, leaving my skin well hydrated after masking time. When removed, after 20 minutes, I find that my skin has absorbed most of the essence. It also doesn’t feel sticky afterward, which is a good thing.

I found that this Otter Aqua Mask was super hydrating and it left a very dewy look and soothing feel to my skin. The mask does what it says; it moisturizes and smoothes the skin and replenishes dehydrated skin. This mask will be a boon for dry skinned ladies as it makes the skin super hydrated, soft and healthy.

One more thing, they design and sell this animal mask to donate a part of their revenue to the Korean Animal Society. I am glad that they have such a good cause behind this. Overall, it is a good mask which lives up to its claims.
