My Experience with Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lip 3D Lip Colour and Sculpt Berry Much:
It comes in a basic color-coded crayon. The nice chubby crayon is lightweight and it’s a beautiful deep berry in color. The crayon stick color is quite darker than the original color swatched on lips. The cap shuts tight and it’s easy to carry around in your purse. The shade name is mentioned at the base of the crayon. It is retractable and has an easy-to-use bullet.
While I didn’t like “Pretty Muted,” I reach for this “Berry Much” very often. This is a nice berry mauve shade, somewhat misleading from the color on the outer pack. This shade will work well on fair-dusky skin tones. It is a pretty shade, sophisticated and wearable. I had hoped that this would be a deep rich berry shade, but it turned out to be a mauve shade, which with a couple of swipes, deepens to give a richer hue. This is not a shade which would immediately brighten up your face, but something you can wear to work.
The texture is great. It goes smoothly on the lips, not the butteriest creamy lipstick, but still application is pretty hassle free. The bullet is of a nice shape, convenient to apply the lipstick evenly even on the edges. The pigmentation is good, and you can build the color with two swipes.
It sets to a semi-matte finish, with a slight sheen. It survives slight snacking and sipping, and gives a wear time of 4 hours. Its comfortable formula makes it ideal for day wear too, where you might be working in long AC environments where you don’t want glossy lips. It slightly stains lips, but I remove this with coconut oil. This dries my lips after 5-6 hours, so I tend to dab a lip balm if I need to wear the lipstick longer.
