Hello all,

I recently picked up the shades “Vintage Wine” and “Blush Wine” from the newly launched Sonia Kashuk Grand Bazaar Liquid Lip collection. The packaging of this range is really lovely and I just could not decide between the two shades and hence ended up getting both. Today, I am reviewing “Vintage Wine.” Read on to find out more.

Product Description:
Treat lips to this highly-pigmented, long-wearing liquid lip color in classic wine-colored hues. Created with a blend of oils, the creamy formula leaves lips with a balm-like softness and delivers vibrant color payoff with a glossy finish. Vintage Wine, a full-bodied burgundy.
My Experience with Sonia Kashuk Vintage Wine Grand Bazaar Liquid Lip:
Packaging: This liquid lipstick comes in a cute chubby tube packaging with a burgundy houndstooth packaging. The packaging is quite sleek and attractive.
The lipstick has a regular paddle-shaped applicator. It makes the application precise and quick. The tube is actually quite small, thus making it a bit expensive as compared to other drugstore brands.
Shade/Pigmentation: Vintage Wine is a beautiful berry brown shade. I personally am not a fan of brown lipsticks, but this shade has the right amount of pink undertones which prevents it from getting too dark brown. It is totally a fall-winter shade and will suit Indian skin tones. This is one shade which I will surely recommend to all. The lipstick is decently pigmented and one swipe gives you opaque coverage. I personally like putting on two swipes of the lipstick. There is no clumping if you layer on the lipstick.
Texture/Finish: This is a liquid lipstick and has a creamy texture. It is not very runny and spreads easily on the lips. The finish is a plush velvety one that we all have now come to associate with liquid lips. It does not dry down completely to a matte look but sets a bit in a while. The finish continues to be slightly glossy.
The lipstick feels pretty comfortable and lightweight on the lips and does not feel drying, but this is a liquid lipstick and I would recommend exfoliating lips before application or else it does highlight any dry patches. The lipstick does not feather which is otherwise a problem with liquid lipsticks.
The lipstick has a sweet vanilla scent. Those of you who are sensitive to fragrances in their cosmetics will surely not like it. I personally like the sweet scent.
Staying Power: The lasting power is pretty average since it does not completely dry down. It transfers and lasts for 4-5 hrs depending on what I am snacking/drinking. It does not leave behind any stain.

If you like liquid lipsticks with a slight sheen and are attracted to brown shades, you can surely try it out. I will not repurchase the exact same shade.
