Today, I will be reviewing one of my husband’s favorite perfume – its St. Dupont Noir.

Product Description:

St. Dupont Noir by St. Dupont is a Woody Spicy fragrance for men. St. Dupont Noir was launched in 2006. The nose behind this fragrance is Michel Girard.  Top notes are lavender, mint and cardamom. Middle notes are nutmeg and cloves. Base notes are hazelnut, cashmere wood and vetiver. Intense and powerful, it is recommended for evening wear.

My Experience with St. Dupont Noir Eau De Toilette:

My husband was gifted a set of S.T. Dupont Noir on our wedding. It contained Eau de Toilette pour Homme 100ml, All over wash 100ml and After shave 100 ml.  This perfume is dark and seductive. It has a fresh woody and spicy scent that shoots right up your nose and makes heads turn.  When applied, the first blast to the skin reveals a very dry mint with a gentle backdrop of lavender.

The mint clears out a bit as the warm spices and soft woods begin their ghost-like ascent. Its an elegant fragrance, deep, dark and smooth, quite aromatic and intoxicatingly addictive. It has that mysterious quality to it. The Spicy lavender hazelnut mix makes up really unique fragrance.

The fragrance dries back well and it has a staying power of 5-7 hours. Very masculine, not overpowering at all. Not your typical men’s fragrances which is either a citrus or a very musky base. It is excellent not only for the evening’s, but also for those day time office wear. But this is definitely not a casual day scent .  The packaging is a masterpiece. The black box with its shining title and the bottle full of these diamond-looking things. Really nice and eye-catching.  Definitely Recommend if you are adventurous and looking for something unique!
