St Ives Indulgent Coconut Milk Triple Butters Body Wash
I was tired of using antiseptic soaps in summers and moisturizing soaps in winters. In my daily full of hassle & hurry routine in the morning to juggle between breakfast, hubby and self-preparation for going to office, I needed some helpful easygoing product in shower. For a body wash, everyone suggested Lux…Dove…but I wanted something with rave reviews to pamper my skin & nourish it in upcoming winter so that at time I can leave home without a body moisturizer and here it is, a St Ives body wash. I have always been in love with St Ives products and this is one more addition to my rack. Let’s see how much it proved itself in performance 😉
St Ives says: Pamper your skin with St Ives Indulgent Coconut Milk Triple Butters body wash. The triple butter formula blends a rich, hydrating mix of 100% natural moisturizers like jojoba, shea and cocoa butters, known to naturally nourish and moisturize your skin. Use daily with St Ives lotions to enjoy skin that looks and feels healthy and full of life!
Price: $ 2.99 approx ( PKR 350) – 400 of product
Directions for: Pour into moistened poof, sponge, washcloth or hands. Work into a rich, creamy lather and rinse.
My experiences with St Ives Indulgent Coconut Milk Triple Butters Body Wash:
The packaging mentions:
• 100% natural moisturizer
• Paraben free
• Made with natural ingredients
• Dermatologist tested – hypo allergic
These claims are no doubt very attractive. I like paraben free products.
The packaging is sturdy, doesn’t looks cheap and easy to handle in shower with a flip top lid. I am quite happy with the price tag, quantity and quality. It lathers very rich and has a nice coconut smell. Only a small amount of product is required using a pouf to lather the entire body. However, if you try to lather with hands, quite big quantity is required. The coconut fragrance is short lived and doesn’t stay long after the shower. It is a plus point as well because while stepping out from the house, one should smell of the perfume worn rather than the body wash used.
The body wash leaves the skin smooth, properly moistened and supple. It does not leave that soapy and unwanted residue on the skin. It is a very good budget buy and fives a luxurious feeling in the shower. It is perfect to use in winters. In mild winters like it is now coming, not much need of a body lotion is felt after the bath. However, for summers, a non-moisturizing rather hydrating variant of the brand should be used.
Pros of St Ives Indulgent Coconut Milk Triple Butters Body Wash:
• Excellent quality & quantity in affordable price.
• Leaves the skin smooth & supple after bath.
• Adorable coconut fragrance.
• Easy to use in shower.
• Travel friendly packaging.
• Lathers rich.
• Free of Parabens.
• Available on all major departmental & cosmetic stores.
Cons of St Ives Indulgent Coconut Milk Triple Butters Body Wash:
• Does not lather much with hands.
Will I buy St Ives Coconut Milk body wash again?
