My Experience with St. Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Cleanser:

I have used scrubs and body washes from St. Ives and have always loved them. So when I saw this, I grabbed it without giving much thought. But later on felt that it may not be a good product for my skin type. I have dry and sensitive skin and have got some blemishes recently due to sun sensitivity.

St. Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Cleanser name

The cleanser comes in bright peach color tube with flip cap. The formula is thick creamy white with tiny red beads. It has a strong smell which reminds me of some product but I don’t remember exactly. I always do patch test whenever I use new products and not sure about them. I used very small amount of it on one side of my cheeks and waited for the results for a day. I did not see any breakouts so went ahead with the cleanser.

I find the smell to be very strong and I don’t prefer anything smelling strong. The cleanser has tiny red particles which kind of help in exfoliating the skin. Overall I did not feel as if I am using a cleanser, it kind of felt like mild scrub but it does not exfoliate much. It cleanses the skin just average. I did not get the feel of squeaky clean face though my face did feel a lot smoother. I did not see any difference in blemishes on regular use of this.

St. Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Cleanser packaging

So this product lies between a normal cleanser and a scrub. I actually felt that even the makers were confused on what to expect from this product. St. Ives has really good range of products but this one is just an average and confused product. Only good thing was that, it did not made my skin very dry, thanks to the creamy texture.

Pros of St. Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Cleanser:

• Creamy texture.
• Does not dry out skin.
• Paraben free.
• 100 % natural extracts.
• Oil free.

Cons of St. Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Cleanser:
