St. Ives Rich and Creamy Vanilla Body Wash Ingredients

My Experience with St. Ives Rich and Creamy Vanilla Body Wash:

This comes in a tall semi-transparent bottle. The bottle is pale cream in color. The front and back have a sticker each – which displays the name of the product and picture of the main ingredients on the front and the ingredient list at the back. It has a simple and attractive packaging.

The white flip open cap is tightly sealed so the body wash doesn’t leak or drip. I picked up a big bottle and this isn’t travel-friendly (didn’t see any other size options). This body wash has a semi-white gel-like liquid with a runny consistency and it foams well.

It works well with the loofah. Once rinsed, it gives you a clean and fresh feeling. A little amount is good enough and this will last you very long. Only a coin size amount is more than enough for a nice wash. It takes time in rinsing it off otherwise it feels a little slippery.

The fragrance is mesmerizing. It has a sweet cocoa butter kind of fragrance, nothing like vanilla. You can sniff it from the bottle itself. The fragrance is strong, which I love. But some people might not like such a strong sweet smell. The fragrance lingers for 1-2 hours post-rinsing. I feel the fragrance is quite pleasant and refreshing.

It has become my go-to body wash for summer. It leaves my skin soft and smooth. My skin didn’t feel dry or stretchy after rinsing but the moisturising effect was not there – the effect which you get from creamy body wash like Dove or Nivea.

St. Ives Rich and Creamy Vanilla Body Wash Swatch

Overall, I am happy with the fragrance and I love such fragrance for summer so other issue doesn’t matter. I think it will suit most of the skin types. Dry skinned beauties will need a good moisturiser post wash. It is a paraben-free formula and with the quantity provided at this price, it’s a bargain.

Pros of St. Ives Rich and Creamy Vanilla Body Wash:

• A little goes a long way
• Pleasant yummy fragrance
• Leaves the skin soft and fresh
• Paraben-free
• Suitable for sensitive skin
• Gentle enough to be used daily
• Affordable

Cons of St. Ives Rich and Creamy Vanilla Body Wash:

• Not a travel-friendly pack
• Contains SLS
• Some might not like the strong fragrance
• Not moisturising enough

IMBB Rating: 3.5 /5
Will I Repurchase/Recommend St. Ives Rich and Creamy Vanilla Body Wash?
Yes, I will definitely repurchase this body wash but just for the fragrance. If you love sweet fragrances and don’t mind the not-so-moisturising formula then you can give it a try.
