IMBB sponsored product bidding is such an innovative idea. But I haven’t been lucky so far to participate due to certain reasons. Being an admirer of St Ives products, when I saw this on January’s list of sponsored products, I picked it up for regular review with the permission of the team. I have used it for approx 4 weeks. Let’s read how it fared for me.
Product Description: This moisturizer, with collagen elastin proteins, hydrates for visibly softer, smoother skin.
– With collagen and elastin proteins
– Dermatologist Tested
Price: $ 5.5 (exclusive of shipping cost) – 283 g.
Ingredients: Water (Aqua, Eau), Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum, Huile Minerale), Propylene Glycol, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Stearic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Triethanolamine, Carbomer, Cetyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance (Parfum), Ethylhexylglycerin, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Hydrolyzed Elastin, Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamal, Coumarin, Geraniol.
Packaging: The moisturizer comes in a bulky jar. The packaging is pretty boring and ordinary. There is no inner lid, so you can see in the images that the products spills on the cover during shipping and travelling.
My take on St Ives Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer:
The milky white moisturiser has texture and consistency like a light weight gel; it blends and gets absorbed within seconds. The moment I open the cover, a mild jasmine flower fragrance welcomes me, instantly refreshing my mood. When applied, absorbs easily with thin moisture film on skin, but it feels light weight without nay greasy feeling. For moderate weather, it is a very good moisturizer but may not provide sufficient moisture in harsh weather. It makes my skin supple and soft and softens dry patches around my mouth, but the moisturised feeling goes away after 2-4 hours after which, reapplication is required. A small amount covers the desired area accurately.
The product claims to visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles; luckily I don’t have wrinkles so I can’t prove or discard this claim. But overall, no doubt it has made my skin tone even and improved my complexion. But I couldn’t notice any reduction in fine lines on my face. May be it will take more time or it may never happen.
It has no SPF but is dermatologist tested and non-comedogenic. Sunflower seed oil is the basic ingredient. It is Paraben free product.

Cons of St Ives Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer:

Final Verdict: Overall, I am pleased with this product. It has replaced my current moisturiser. St Ives brings up products that are Paraben free and the price tag reachable for masses. I will repurchase this if I finish it any time soon 😛 surely I recommend this product.
