Step-by-Step Lip Makeup Tutorial: 3 Different Gradient Lips Tutorial

Hello, my beautiful friends!

Gradient lips trend already has won our heart and we all want to create those perfect lip swatches like a pro. I always love to mix and match the colors and it gives me that desired look. Today, I am going to share some pretty ways to create nice ombre lips which you can easily create and it takes only a few minutes to do so. You know, that the lip gradation technique is not only a mix of two shades, it is also a nice way to define your lips and it helps to contour your lips well, which makes lips fuller and picture perfect. So, now, let’s get into the detailed tutorials.

Pink and Coral Gradient Lips Makeup Tutorial:

Step 1: First, you have to moisturize your lips well and then blot the excess lip balm to avoid greasiness.

Step 2: To cancel out lip pigmentation, apply some concealer on lips and around the mouth. Blend that with a sponge and apply some compact powder to set the concealer from creasing. It helps to hide the darkness around the lips and also provides a neutral color to them so that your lip shade will appear brighter and perfect as well.

Step 3: Now, use a dark shade than your lipstick to line or contour your lips. Here, I used a fuchsia pink lip liner. So, you have to start drawing your lips and must start from the cupid bow and then line out the lip. Also line your lower lip line as well.

Step 4: After that, with a blending brush, smudge that line and make it smooth.

Step 5: Next, apply a coral lipstick on the center of the lips and smoothly blend the shade with the lip liner.

Step 6: To highlight the center area, apply some same matte highlighting powder. I applied some pink blush to highlight my lips.

Step 7: Finally, apply some compact to correct the line, if you need to correct it.

Step 1: First, you have to moisturize your lips well and then blot the excess lip balm to avoid greasiness.

It helps to hide the darkness around the lips and also provides a neutral color to them so that your lip shade will appear brighter and perfect as well.

Step 3: For nude ombre lips, you have to choose a lip liner which is two to three shades darker than your lipstick. I used a burgundy rusty lip liner to draw my lips. I started from cupid bow and then lined my upper lip line and lower lip line.

Step 4:
After that, with that same liner, I have contoured my lips to draw some line on center like in the image.

Step 5: Next, I applied a nude peach lipstick smoothly on the center. I haven’t applied it on my lip liner. But, I blended it with that line.

Step 6: To finish this look, I applied some compact powder over the lipstick. It helps to provide a nice smooth matte finish and also helps the color to last long.

Red and Wine Ombre Lip Makeup:

Step 1: First, you have to moisturize your lips well and then blot the excess lip balm to avoid greasiness.

Step 2: To cancel out lip pigmentation, apply some concealer on lips and around the mouth. Blend that with a sponge and apply some compact powder to set the concealer from creasing. It helps to hide the darkness around the lips and also provides a neutral color to them so that your lip shade will appear brighter and perfect as well.

Step 3: For this red ombre lip makeup, I used a dark blackish wine lip pencil to draw my lips and I also contoured my lips with the lip liner. It helps to give a nice structure to my lips.

Step 4: Next, I applied a bright red lipstick with a lip brush and lightly applied it to the center of my lips. I blended the shade with a blending brush. As my liner shade is not so dark, I used a black kajal to make it a little bold. If you have a dark lip liner, you can use that.

Step 5: To make it a little brighter, I applied a red shadow on the center area. I just dabbed the red shade on the top of the lipstick and smudged it slightly to provide a natural finish.
