Step-by-Step Makeup Tutorial – Metallic Smokey Eyes

By “Make-Up by Puneet

Hi readers,
I have created a ‘metallic smokey eye’ look which is appropriate for the evening time. It is dramatic and gives a pop to the eyes, plus it can we go with both Indian and western attires. Most of the products I have used for this look are easily available in India. So, let’s start! 🙂

List of the products used:

Makeup Revolution London Redemption Palette Hot Smoked
Natio Brow Kit
Sephora Brow Highlighter
MAC Studio Finish Concealer
MAC Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder
Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner
• Bare Minerals i.d Loose Powder Glitter
Inglot False Lashes in #17S

Step one:

Use the MAC concealer on and around the eyes and then use MAC Prep and Prime on the eyelids. Use powder under the eyes to set the crease lines and to get rid of the fall out of the eyeshadow. This powder is to be brushed off once the eye makeup is complete. I used the Natio Brow Kit to define and fill in my eyebrows.

Step two:

Now, highlight your browbone; I used Sephora Brow Highlighter on the brow bone and on the inner corners of the eyes. Now, apply a metallic grey color on the lids of the eye, which is the third shade from this palette.

Step three:

On the crease and on the outer corners, use the fourth and fifth colours from the palette. Do a lot of blending on the crease so that there are no harsh lines.

Step four:

Line your eyes beautifully using the Maybelline gel eyeliner.

Step five:

Also fill in your waterline with this Maybelline eyeliner and then blend it with a black coloured eyeshadow (can use any dark grey or black eyeshadow). In the final step, add false lashes to add the glamour quotient.

About the Makeup Artist:

I am passionate about my work but I don’t believe in going by the rule book. I believe makeup is a skill, work of creativity just like any other form of art. To me every face is a canvas on which I paint, I don’t believe in hiding flaws by applying layer after layer of makeup. I enhance and highlight the best features of the face with makeup and try to keep the look fresh and not cakey.

I provide makeup services for all occasions, party, bridal, fashion. I do airbrush as well as HD makeup. I am based out of Chandigarh and work with Nirvana Health and Beauty Clinic, I also travel for work to the venue.
