Step-by-Step Matte Neutral Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hello girls,
Summers are here, so are the heat and sweat! I came up with this matte neutral eye makeup look that will look fresh even in the day! And for the night look, you can play with it by smoking it more or adding another color. This look is simple, easy and fuss free! Let’s get right into it!

Step 1

So first things first, I primed my lids using the Inglot Eye Makeup Base.

Step 2

Using a fluffy blending brush, I picked up this brown-coral, terracotta shade and used it as my transition shade in the crease. I blended it as nicely as I could to get a soft finish around the crease.

Step 3

Then, with an eyeshadow brush, I picked up a matte off white eyeshadow and applied it all over my lids.

Step 4

Then, using a crease brush, I picked up some matte brown eyeshadow from Faces and pushed it in the crease and on the outer corner just to define it a bit more.

Step 5

After that, I took a matte black eyeliner and created a winged eyeliner.

Step 6

Taking that crease brush and the matte brown eyeshadow again, I lined my lower waterline with it.

Step 7

Using an eyelash curler, I curled my lashes and prepped them for mascara. I used about two coats of Benefit Better Than Sex Mascara; you can use any mascara of your choice.

Step 8

To finish off the look, I used Inglot blush in a peachy shade and Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte lipstick in the shade Serenity.

That’s it! This look is easy, and can be achieved with minimal basic products! The result is a matte neutral eyeshadow look that you can dress up or dress down and mix & match with any lip shade, and you have a nice almost cut crease eye look!
