Hello, beauties!
This pre-winter or fall season is one of my favourite times. During this season, I always feel fresh and my skin looks good. And obviously, we all know it’s the best time to flaunt our makeup. I’ve been showing my love for nude lipsticks for a while now but now I am again obsessed with dark shades. So for this look, I created a monochrome effect with dark lips. This is a vampy look with dark red makeup, including eyeliner. I just love how this look has turned out as it is perfect for the ongoing season. Now, let’s get started with the tutorial.
Face:
I started this look with my face makeup. First, I applied my hydrating serum and then I used my foundation and concealer. I blended all the shades smoothly with a sponge and it gave me a perfect, natural-looking smooth look. I then used a translucent powder to set everything well. I kept my base makeup natural, as always.
I applied a dark reddish-pink blush as my contour shade and used a light pink blush on my cheeks to make them look soft. Next, I used a golden highlighter to highlight my face. To give a natural finish I sprayed some face mist and it also added a nice glow.
Eyes:
Step 1:
On my eyes, I first used a rose gold shadow on the lids and blended it smoothly.
Step 2:
Next, to define my crease, I applied a warm reddish brown shadow on the crease and blended all the shades with a fluffy blending brush.
Step 3:
To highlight the centre, I applied the same gold highlighter on the lid with my finger and smudged it slightly.
Step 4:
Next, I took my liquid lipstick and with an eyeliner brush I created a nice winged eyeliner on my upper lash line.
Step 5:
I extended the wing towards the inner corner as well and continued it until the lower lash line.
Step 6:
Next, I used a maroon shadow on lower lash line and mixed the shade well with the red liner.
Step 7:
On my waterline I used a black kajal and smudged it slightly to get a natural finish.
Step 8:
Next, to complete this look, I curled my lashes and applied a mascara on both upper and lower lashes. Also, I filled my eyebrows with an eyebrow kit.
Lips:
On my lips, I first applied a dark red liquid lipstick. To make it a little shiny, I used a rose gold shadow on top of the shade.
Here is my final look. I wore a peach top and kept my hair open. I love chokers with such bold looks and prefer to keep my other accessories simple. It is quite a wearable makeup look. Such looks are perfect for day to night events. Hope you liked it and would love to give it a try.
