Step-by-Step Festive Makeup Tutorial – Ethnic Turquoise Blue Eyes with Bright Pink Lips

Hello, beauties!

The festive season is a good time to pair our traditional outfits with pretty makeup looks. Since I mostly wear western casuals throughout the year, I try and wear ethnic dresses during this time of the year. In this tutorial, I am going to show how you can create this pink and blue look. It is quite easy to create and looks great on all skin tones. This look is apt for the festive season and can be worn as a night time party look too. Now, let’s get started with the tutorial.

Face:

I started with my face makeup. First, I used a pore refining cream as a base and then used a cushion foundation. I just dabbed it into my skin with a puff. Then I used a concealer to conceal and highlight my under eye area. I always keep my face makeup simple as that’s what I like it. I blended all the products smoothly with a sponge as this trick gives me a perfect, natural-looking, smooth look.

I then used a translucent powder to set everything well. Here, I went for a natural-looking bronzer to contour my cheeks and nose and also applied a bright rusty pink blush on my cheeks. Next, I used a gold-beige highlighter on the highest parts of my face. To give a dewy finish, I sprayed some face mist, which added a nice glow.

Eyes:

Step 1:
On my eyes, I first used a natural brown shade on the crease to define it and blended the shade smoothly with a round blending brush.

Step 2:
Next, I used a shiny lilac pink shade in the middle of my lid and smoothly combined this shade with the previous shade.

Step 3:
Now, I used a turquoise eyeshadow on my outer corner and also extended the shadow to my crease. I blended the shade smoothly until it started to look natural and smokey.

Step 4:
I then applied a turquoise cream shadow on my lower lash line and waterline. Next, I blended the shade with the same turquoise eyeshadow.

Step 5:
To make the look bolder and deeper, I used a bright blue shadow on the outer corner and just dabbed the shade with a pointed applicator brush. I blended the shade lightly and extended the colour slightly towards the crease as well.

Step 6:
Now, I used the same blue shadow on my lower lash line and applied on the outer corner of my lash line. Here, I created a thick look on my lash line. I smudged the shade well to get a natural look.

Step 7:
I created a nice winged liner with a black liquid eyeliner. I kept it rather simple.

Step 8:
Next, to complete this look, I curled my lashes and applied some mascara on both my upper and lower lashes.

Step 9:
Finally, I filled in my eyebrows with an eyebrow kit and applied a shiny off-white shadow just below my eyebrows to highlight that area.

Step 10:
I also added small white stones to make this eye look a little more ethnic and festive.

Lips:

I first applied a bright pink shade on the outer line. Then, I used a baby pink creamy lipstick over it.

Here is my final look. It is a very wearable eye makeup look and will go with any outfit. I paired this look with a pink dress and added multicoloured jhumkas. Hope you liked this tutorial and would like to give it a try.
